Decided on this cute local restaurant for Valentine’s Day dinner and I was very impressed. Amazing food, staff and atmosphere. I will definitely be back!
We had a very enjoyable experience at Cortino's. We ordered the Chicken Fettuccine as our main entrees and the Italian Creme Cake for dessert. The creme cake had layers of raspberry and coconut flakes in the cake. It was very delicious. The waiters were very attentive.
The desserts here are an absolute must! I’ve visited several times to enjoy the cozy dine-in atmosphere, and most recently came with a large group. I was thrilled to see that the service was just as wonderful; friendly, attentive, and consistent no matter the party size. A true gem in Mercedes, TX!
Today was our first-time visit but won't be our last. I have tried to find a good Chicken Picaata in the Valley. I have had some bad, barely edible Chicken Picaata at some popular Valley restaurants. The Chicken Picaata at Cortino's is delicious. I've found my place. My husband ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo. He loved it. He said the sauce was velvety and the pasta didn't clump together like you get at some restaurants. Everything was delicious from the salad with the house Italian to the Minestrone soup to the toasted garlic bread and our entrees. We will definitely go back. Many more dishes to try.

Family took me here on a Friday night for dinner. There was a bit of a wait, only due to their support of a dinner theater production for a non-profit! (win-win) Lasagna was some of the best I have had in several years with it coming out in a very timely fashion, even with a packed house. Will make it back here again to try more dishes!
We went to Cortino's based on a friend's recommendation. It was the best Italian food my family has ever had. The food was amazing, the service was great and friendly, and the price was fair. I didn't take photos of our food but I'm a lifelong customer. Olive Garden has been crap for a long time. This food is authentic and made with high quality ingredients. It didn't make my stomach sick at all and that is hard to find these days with so much processed junk in our foods. My family can't wait to go back. Did I mention how awesome the dessert was?
This is one amazing place. We came and they were sorry staffed but still did an awesome job getting everyone served. The food was great as well as the service. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great Italian food it was awesome. Thank you for great lunch. We will stop in again.
