This is my first time, and we were so tired, that we chose take-out and went back to the Airbnb. That being said, the greeter was friendly, the restaurant atmosphere is very nice, ample parking, and the Muffuletta, soup and potato salad was delicious. You have to get the mushrooms!!! Worth the extra. Before we leave the area, we definitely will return for dine-in.
This roast beef po-boy is so good, I had to put it down, take a picture and post a review. It's the best around.
We enjoy going here on Fridays around lunchtime or later in the evening for dinner. Ask for (Tony), Tony has been there for a while. He will treat you like he's your best friend and has ole school grace and manners. Their food is wonderful. The service is always first class. If we could give them 10 stars, we surely would. Try the meatballs and spaghetti or the best lasagna in St Tammany Parish. See you soon. Monica & RJ
What a great joint!! That Redfish St. Martin was incredible!! We brought our brother Jim here for a birthday Lunch before he passed. Thank y'all we had a great meal there with him!!
Excellent service, excellent food, beautiful restaurant! My daughter and I shared the grilled redfish with broccoli and it was the best fish I ever had!! It was delicious! We also ordered onion rings and spinach artichoke dip for appetizers and they were also delicious! The side salads came with olives and it was all awesome! My son had the red beans and rice and my dad had the fried catfish platter, and they enjoyed it! Looks like we found our new fave place for lunch or dinner! ;) Update: 12.8.19 Picked up a to go order for us to eat during the Saints game. All the food was delish as always, especially the lasagna!!! So good!
Awesome muffuettas! It's my favorite. My daughter had the steak and she said best steak she has had. I tasted and it was excellent!
Food was delicious, Steak was VERY tender and grilled perfectly. The only real complaint, and it may seem minor, was our Server didn't really check on us much. We had to get someone's attention to get more coffee, etc.
The fried mushrooms are the best in town for an appetizer and the Roast Beef on Muffuletta bread and the Chicken Parmesan is a must have! Great food and service as well have been coming here for lunch for years!
Honestly... there's something about the way the building looks from the street that has kept me from trying DiMartino's til now. Big mistake! The inside decor is phenomenal and the food is superb. A friend had one of their famous muffs, but I went for the bacon Swiss burger. After adding a little mayo and ketchup to it... the first bite was magnificent. I actually had to take a closer look to find the source of all that flavor... and trust me, the 8 oz quality burger patty is the key. I thoroughly enjoyed this lunchtime indulgence and plan to return real soon.
My friends invited me to meet them here for dinner. I had the garlic chicken breast. It was delicious. Nice atmosphere too!
Finally! A decent place to eat. I was starting to lose hope in this town. These burgers were delicious, the baked potato was great, service was excellent! The only complaint is a very small one: the sesame seed bun was dry. I wonder if it would be better if they used the bread from the muffuletta and called it a muffu-burger? I should trademark that!
The food here is always great. Everything is fresh and made to order. The eggplant sticks are one of the best appetizers I’ve had anywhere. This place is definitely a must visit if in the Covington area. And Nicole is a very friendly and punctual server.
