Ordered take out, Manicotti dinner with a salad, and Tiramisu. After opening the bag, I discovered my meal came with a mini loaf of garlic bread. I opened a bottle of red, poured a glass and dug in. Everything was delicious, the Manicotti was perfectly cooked with lots of cheese and sauced just right. The loaf of bread was nice, as the few pieces complimented the manicotti to the last bite. Salad with Italian dressing had fresh lettuce, tomato, olives, and a pepperoncini. Tiramisu to go was in glass, and really cold. I needed to let it warm up a few minutes as it was frozen. First bite, coca flavor, second bite got into the bottom and it was balanced, delicious, and exactly what i hoped for. I have lived in Beaumont for two years now, and everything from Guy's was delicious.. I am so disappointed I waited and took this long to order from them. For the bill, it was $25 and some change OTD, which is fair and cant be beat for this type of Italian. When everything in the world has gotten so expensive, good food that is priced appropriately while supporting a small business is my priority and Guy's delivered 100%. Bravo Guy's, I will definitely be back and to dine in for the full experience.
the restaurant is seriously overhyped and personally the food is slightly overpriced and under-satisfactory. the service was good and it took about 10 minutes to completely get our food
The food here was delicious, and the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere. The waiter was attentive, and the service overall was excellent. Our meals arrived promptly after ordering. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Italian food.
This restaurant is definitely cozy with amazing food. The service was a little slow, but I understand because they were busy. It seemed as though they have a lot of regulars. We ordered the meatball sandwich with cheese. It's a foot long, so it comes in two sandwiches. The linguini in clam sauce, white clam sauce and the cheese tortellini. The two pastas came with a small salad and two small loaves of garlic bread. They have many different salad dressings you can choose from. We chose a vinaigrette and a blue cheese. The garlic bread was perfectly toasted on the outside and warm, soft and bursting with flavors on the inside. The salad came with large slices of tomatoes and a pepperoncini. The pepperoncini also had so much flavor that I wasn't expecting. It was amazing. The salad was garnished with radish slices. The cheese tortellini had different colored tortellini, with regular pasta color, red and green. The linguini and clam sauce, White, is made with lemon, so it's a bit tangy, but it was so delicious. At the end, I tried one of their cannolis. The filling was so amazing. It was soft with some type of nut on the inside. I don't know what kind but it was good. The outer layer was soft and crunchy with a hint of cinnamon taste and a drizzle of chocolate on top. The filling was definitely rich tasting, but the outside of it canceled out the rich flavor. All in all, 5 stars. Will be coming back here. Thankyou so much.
First time. Loved the Senior choices! So reasonable & food was really delicious! . Dinner for 2 with a wine each. Only problem with this great place is the open times are minimal. If you like Italian in Riverside County...good choice..especially since Chicago Pasta House on Sunnymead in MoVal closed.
Was our first time visit, we ordered large pizza with pepperoni, Canadian bacon and pineapple, was a good pizza fresh. I knock off points because I'm a huge reheated pizza guy and this would not have reheated well. Also had the chicken parmesan dinner, spaghetti was really good, the chicken was not breaded so it that was a tad disappointing. Garlic bread loaf, was good, bakes crisp on the outside and soft inside, and Alfredo a sauce to dip. They did not skimp on the Alfredo A+ on the amount. Dessert was underwhelming, cheesecake tasted fine, but was still a bit frozen, had to take it home. Cannoli was really hard shell, dry. Overall the experience was really good. Selena ( I hope that's how you spell your name) our waitress was energetic, on top of drink refills, and offered her personal choices when we asked what she recommended.
A place had a pleasant atmosphere. Definitely old school feel, could stand a little bit of an upgrade, especially seating, the seats were Well used. Preferred had great taste, but the portion size were small for the entrées. My wife's pizza was outstanding. We would definitely come back.
Update 5/24/2025 - Third time at Guy's and food and service is still great as last couple visits. We came for our anniversary dinner, 39 years :-). I had the Chicken Parasan, and my wife had the Shrimp Diablo. Both were very tasty and good portions. Both came with choice of soup or salad and garlic bread. A bit noisy tonight due to a birthday party in the corner table. First time at Guy’s and really enjoyed the meal. They give you a large full glass of wine instead of half full at most restaurants. I has the Chicken Parmesan and my wife had the Eggplant Parmesan. Both were delicious and plenty of food. Along with very tasty garlic bread and salad. Don’t let the exterior appearance of the building fool you. This is a nice cute restaurant inside with great service.
