What a little hidden gem this place is…Italian chef and staff, beyond delicious pasta…and at unheard of low prices. Starters, pasta, sides, yummy dessert, wine, coffee, limoncello…how does £60 for 2 people sound?! But that’s not even the main point of this review, because it’s all about the pasta: truffle cheese ravioli (wow!); Norma pasta (finally done right, after many disappointments elsewhere)…and the portions, incredible!! Highly recommend - slightly off the beaten track and all the more delightful for it.

This is the best Italian restaurant in Tenerife. Hands down. Small coverage so if you don’t book don’t expect to be seated. I’ve not had better Italian food outside Sicily. Do not walk to this restaurant, run! Otherwise someone will take your seat!! 10/10
Overall a nice place for dinner. Seafood tagliatelle were really tasty. However, we did not like the fact that we could not pay with credit card and we only got to know before leaving. Also, no receipt. I hope it was just a problem for that night.
We discovered this gem of a restaurant a couple of years ago, and each time we come to Tenerife we have to visit several times. Has to be the best Italian restaurant on the island. The food is consistently excellent, each dish authentic and absolutely delicious. Atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, service is top class and so efficient. The people who run La Caponata obviously take great pride in their restaurant and boy, does it show. Don’t miss out!! George and Patricia.
From heart shaped Bruschetta to the limoncello to round the dinner off, everything was delicious and prices are truly great for this wonderful taste and experience. We are happy to come back!
A genuinely lovely experience for lunch here today. Attentive, friendly, quick service and a well shaded terrace. The pasta was excellent, we also ordered a childs carbonara which our son loved. Will definitely come back, we felt the price was reasonable for what we got. Thanks again!
Really really lovely place, came here on the first night of our holiday as it was right outside the hotel we're staying at. Amazing service, incredible Italian food and drinks. Would highly recommend ! They gave both of us a free shot of limoncello after our food too :)
