Wow, delicious! Service was excellent and very knowledgeable of all dishes and able to describe all of the many special dishes in detail, ensuring each of our six guests understood. Food was amazing! Make sure to call for a reservation as the dining room is small and fills up quickly.
One of the best restaurants in Volusia County. Jordan was our waiter and his service is top notch. Can't wait to come back.
This place fills fast so call in advance (don't book online) and I found 6pm was perfect time to get there before the crowd and have plenty of time to savor the evening. From the moment you walk in the door you feel as though you are being welcomed to an evening dining with family. It is an intimate setting with true authentic Italian flavors. At first I was hesitant with the selection of good wines only being offered by the bottle but was pleasantly surprised when I ordered a glass of house wine and knew right away these folks know quality. It got better as the evening went on- It is not often I finish everything on my plate but the Chilean sea bass dish was literally good to the last bite. The clams were seasoned to perfection, I dare say the best I've had. Ana and Sal have done a great job at providing quality dining in a comfortable setting. Save room for dessert as I ordered the freshly made amaretto cake and soaked it in my cappuccino to enhance the heavenly flavors. It is for sure a place I will be visiting again.
Delicious every time. This place is a hidden gem. Superb and fresh food, plus fantastic service.
L'angolo is a little authentic Italian restaurant in Ormond Beach - a short and easy drive, only 18 minutes south of Palm Coast. Once again - outstanding food, stellar service, upscale atmosphere. I had a specially prepared veal dish, pounded and smothered in brown butter sauce and baby bella mushrooms with homemade Pappardelle, Carla had Bolognese with Pappardelle, and Marsha and Pete had the Veal Osso Buco - all outstanding! And we shared a bottle of Zane Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore - exquisite! Highly recommended! #EatLocal #SupportLocal
Finally we tried this Restaurant….service by Anna was very efficient and enjoyable! We did not have appetizers. Did go straight to main course ….enjoyed our selection… will try to post dish selection…. Ambiance very pleasant….will definitely be back. Ample parking…..reservations strongly recommended.
Yet another perfect dinner at L’Angolo. Special app zucchini flowers with Gorgonzola. The stems were like asparagus. Delicate delicious sauce. Prosciutto with melon, yummy! And veal Marsala. Each dish a perfect example of what it should be.
It is a small specialized restaurant with a surprisingly large variety of Italian dishes prepared fresh. Our food was excellent. Bread was provided with dipping oil. The bread was a little to crusty for my liking and the small dipping bowl was a bit annoying to dip your bread in. Service was well paced although we really just had an entree and dessert. The food was fresh and tasted on point. The spaghetti and meatballs were near perfect. The meatballs were tender and flavorful. I did find the sauce a little bland. Dessert was a chocolate mousse cake that was very well done. The negative for us was being seated next to the bathrooms. The restaurant is not really designed correctly in that the last table in the line of tables is essentially next to the bathrooms. Not very appetizing for any restaurant but especially not so for the price range of this restaurant. If you go here make sure you ask for a table near the front so you don't have to deal with people using the restrooms while your eating.
