Best Italian in the entire area, hands down. Every visit, superb. The food so good we can't stop eating. Bread w oil and seasoning irresistible, all the soups, every entree dish we have, full intense flavor and wide selection, all win.
If you’re looking for authentic Italian food with an upscale yet welcoming atmosphere, Lubrano’s Trattoria is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable — the kind of place where you feel taken care of without it being over the top. The food was outstanding across the board. You can tell everything is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. The pasta was cooked flawlessly, the sauces were rich and homemade, and every dish came out beautifully presented. The portions were generous without sacrificing quality. The seafood in particular was incredibly fresh, and the desserts were the perfect finish to the meal. The ambiance strikes a great balance between cozy and elegant, making it perfect for date night, celebrations, or even just a nice dinner out. It’s clear the owners take pride in both the food and the overall experience. This is easily one of the best Italian restaurants in New Jersey. We’ll definitely be back — highly recommend to anyone who appreciates great food and great service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I went to Lubrano’s the other night and tried the spicy rigatoni and the Spicy Bee pizza. The rigatoni had a really good kick to it. It was creamy, a little spicy, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. It wasn’t overpowering, just enough heat to keep it interesting. The Spicy Bee pizza was probably my favorite. The mix of spicy and sweet from the honey actually worked really well, and the crust had that nice crisp but still soft inside. Definitely coming back to order that again. Hands down the best Italian restaurant in the area. 10/10.
Exceptional. Exquisite. Bravo. Man, service was impeccable, professional, and attentive. It felt like fine dining attention to detail and presentation. We had Nonna's meatball starter. Was superb. Probably could've just ordered that as the meal. Everything is so fresh and homemade. The marinara and trifecta of cheeses was simply phenomenal. We got pizzas to follow and they did not disappoint. Perfect crust with a slight crunch and bend, perfect cheese, delicious sauce. I got pepperoni and cherry peppers and that was a great combo, my date got Italian sausage pizza and raved as well. Highly recommend. Ambience is very nice and I almost forgot the complimentary warm bread and herbed olive oil was so good. Perfect experience.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely fantastic Italian spot! Lubrano’s Trattoria delivers on every level — food, service, and value. We started with the focaccia bread (seriously, don’t skip it…I know some people don’t want to fill up on bread, but just try it! With the spice/olive oil mix to dip) and 1/2 dozen clams oreganata. The clams were incredibly tender and the oreganata topping was some of the best I’ve ever had. For dinner, I had the rigatoni alla vodka — and as a self-proclaimed vodka sauce snob, I was very impressed. Rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. My dad ordered the parmigiana trio (chicken, veal, and shrimp) and it was excellent. All entrees come with a fresh garden salad — highly recommend trying the balsamic blue cheese dressing, it’s their signature and it’s amazing. Service here is top tier. Our server was attentive, friendly, and timed the courses beautifully so we never felt rushed. It’s BYOB, which is a great perk, and there’s a liquor store conveniently right next door. Big bonus: they even had root beer for my dad, which made him very happy. Another huge plus — there’s a big parking lot, which makes getting in and out super easy, especially during busy hours. The portions are huge (easily enough for leftovers), prices are super reasonable, and the atmosphere is relaxed but still has that elevated, trattoria-style charm. They also offer pizza and slices at the counter if you’re looking for something more casual. Highly recommend — just be sure to make a reservation!
Delicious Italian restaurant for a family dinner. It’s our go to spot for celebrations. Been too many Italian spots in the Jersey shore, and this is by far the best Italian food in the area. My favorites are the penne shrimp aurora and chicken parm. And the garlic shrimp appetizer with their homemade bread sauce is a must try. 10/10.
Ordered takeout for the first time tonight. I ordered pasta fagioli, calamari and Chicken parm. The soup was great the broth has a nice flavor . The calamari was fresh needed salt little bland but good . The chicken parm was executed well they have an excellent Marinara and the cheese was quality. The chicken itself was cooked well and was also quality. The bread which everyone raves about was top notch. Can't wait to come back and support
ALWAYS great food, awesome staff, and a nice atmosphere! The place is on point! The consistency of quality puts other restaurants to shame! Dom is always there, working his hardest to make the place a fabulous experience! And, it pays off! The price is very reasonable. He could raise the prices and it would still be reasonable. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant if you love Italian cuisine!!!
