Great restaurant in a beautiful town. We have been here twice and really have enjoyed it both times. The first time was just us two and everything was fantastic. We sat at the bar and had great drinks, a phenomenal dinner and the best mixed berry pie. The second time we came with a party of 6 and things went well but could have been better. The dining room was very nice, comfortable and well lit. Our waitress was kind and polite but because we came off season and it was a busy night, she wasn’t very attentive. She brought 5 pieces of bread and one plate of oil for 6 people. No big deal, we asked for more bread! The drinks came out after a short wait. I asked for my martini dirty but it wasn’t, but it was a good martini. We ordered apps, my seafood sampler was very tasty, very much enjoyed it. It had a clams casino, oyster Rockefeller, and crab cake. Our second set of drinks came, my martini was dirty this time. But the rum drink my family ordered was very different then the first round. The waitress said a different bartender made them, she did offer new drinks but they declined. I got the veal bone in chop for dinner and it was cooked perfectly and was a very large portion, highly recommended. My date and I split the mud pie, it was the best dessert I have had in awhile. We like Roberto’s a lot and will definitely come back. This is a great place! If you liked my review don’t forget to hit the thumbs up!!
We stopped in one afternoon around 4:00 for a drink. We were staying next door so it was convenient. The restaurant is beautiful outside. We sat at the bar which was peaceful and welcoming. I don’t remember our bartender’s name but she was excellent. So welcoming and friendly. I had the white sangria which was refreshing and delicious. My husband had a glass of red wine. We planned to come back for dinner another day but never made it. I recommend at least having a drink here if you are in the area.
Front porch intimate romantic meal with excellent service. Lobster Pappadelle off the hook- cooked Al dente with wide homemade noodles- creamy buttery sauce with plenty of tender lobster. Seafood Fra diavolo equally as delicious with perfectly cooked pasta in a nice spicy sauce with tender lobster, shrimp and scallops. Get the blueberry pie - warm and so sweet on the tongue with whipped cream. Add in some cold draft beer and wine and coffee. Highly recommended!
Robertos is long-standing nice Italian restaurant in Ogonquit. The restaurant appearance is pleasant, but the architecture is such that the volume is very loud. Our server was very pleasant and accommodating. Appetizers included beet salad, which was very enjoyable as was the house salad. The Caesar salad was good, but the portion size was deficient. Minestrone soup was very tasty as well. Our main course was seared halibut which was well prepared and very tasty. Veal saltaboca which was ordered by three people was very tasty with a delicious sauce. Veal parm was only rated as good. The only desert ordered was the flourless chocolate cake, which was exceptional with two small scoops of ice cream and really enjoyed by all. Robertos was a nicer restaurant for Italian food that is certainly worth a repeat visit and one that we frequent yearly when we are in town on vacation.
My husband and I honeymooned in Ogunquit just over five years ago, and tonight we returned with our one- and three-year-old. Let me tell you—it absolutely lived up to our memories. Everything was divine, and the service was above and beyond. When my one-year-old daughter kicked over my full glass of wine, our incredibly kind and generous server simply said, “What? Nothing happened,” cleaned it up, and replaced it with a full glass within seconds. The owner, who is such a kind and genuine woman, seated us herself and set the tone for the entire evening. And the food… oh my goodness, the food. As two former foodies now limited in how often we can go out with little ones, this meal was a true gift. I took home the last few bites of my lobster pappardelle because I couldn’t bear to leave them behind, while my husband ate every drop of his cioppino. Together we devoured the carpaccio, and it was perfect. The kids’ linguine came with two huge meatballs in red sauce that instantly transported me back to my Italian grandmother’s kitchen on a Sunday afternoon. All I can say is thank you to the owner and staff at Roberto’s for giving us such a wonderful evening on our last night of vacation. We’ll be back.
I had dinner at Roberto’s last Monday with my boyfriend, and the experience was absolutely spectacular. From the very beginning, the service was excellent the staff was incredibly attentive and made us feel truly welcome. For my starter, I had a lobster bisque that was rich, creamy, and full of flavor honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. My main course was a pasta dish, perfectly cooked and clearly made with fresh ingredients. To finish off the meal, I enjoyed a key lime pie that was simply amazing the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The prices were very reasonable for the city and the quality of the food. Without a doubt, Roberto’s is a restaurant worth visiting, and I’ll definitely be coming back.
My boyfriend and I dined here on a sunday night. We got the seafood risotto and the lasagna as entrees, and caesar salad and garlic bread as apps. Everything was absolutely delicious. Service was incredible. Our server Flor was attentive and so polite. Would 100% recommend
The service was excellent! The lobster bisque was delicious. I ordered the lobster ravioli and it was out of this world. Some lobster mixed with a cheese blend stuffed inside, so much lobster on top in a creamy sauce. Definitely plenty of lobster for some in every bite of my dinner. I thought the price was good and have eaten there before and will go again. Delicious and Wonderful!
