Service was great! Our waitress was super friendly. Food was awesome as well. Definitely recommend the zucchini as an appetizer. There was a bit of a wait in between courses but for quality food I don’t mind waiting and that’s exactly what this was. Portions are very filling, we both left with leftovers we ate for the next two days. For sure a hot spot to try out!
The food was so delicious, I got a New York strip steak and it came with bread and a salad/potato and you could tell that bread was fresh baked there, and all the food was delicious but also the atmosphere was fantastic. Super cozy with adorable Halloween decor and very clean. Haven’t been inside a restaurant that looked like to before! Very unique
Such a lovely place! Service is always top-notch. The staff is friendly, and they will customize your pasta however you'd like. Please stop in, you won't regret it!
We used to go to Italian Oven all the time, but our local one closed. So happy to see this one reopened with new management. The menu is the same and still delicious. We got the garlic bread appetizer and pizza for lunch. It's just as good as it used to be. Highly recommend the garlic bread. The pizza was good, although the pepperoni was pretty greasy. Sorry, forgot to take a pic of the garlic bread when it was full.
The Wednesday Steak Dinner & Pork Chops are outstanding, but this time we went for lunch and was disappointed. Lunch menu was very limited. No sandwiches, except the special soup and sandwich. Which would've been good if they offered a variety or choice if at least 2 sandwiches. When I asked what the soup was and I was told Lima Bean, which I don't care for, I ordered a burger from the regular menu, and fund out afterwards they have Wedding & French Onion soups everyday. Had I known that I would ordered something else. The burger was fresh ground beef, but lacked any flavor.
25 years ago, my husband and I had our first date at the Italian Oven in Butler. We wanted to go back but since the Butler location closed, we traveled to Connellsville. We had the best time! The food was amazing and our waitress Robin was phenomenal. She even surprised us with a piece of cake! Thank you for helping us recreate a moment that happened 25 years ago, we'll definitely be back!
Had an enjoyable dinner with my family last week.... service was excellent and the food was amazing! I enjoy coming here and the food is always delicious!
The food was great, we had penne pasta, a salad, stromboli and hot pepper cheese sticks. Everything cooked to perfection. The Stromboli was not too greasy or messy, it was cooked perfectly. Wow. My server Kate was great. She was a young girl who is kind, polite, attentive, remembered everything, and very thorough. she was the best server I’ve had in a very long time. Also pleased that even under new ownership the classic things that made the Italian oven so enjoyable for my child is still there, the table sheets with crayons and of course the hand drawings on the window.
