We went to Zola's last night to treat ourselves to a nice meal. It was a quiet Wednesday night, but we really enjoyed the calm ambiance, the lovely service and the food we ordered. We love the open kitchen area and being able to see the chefs do their thing. We had some of the specials, including the meatballs in a gargonzola cream sauce, and the Tuscan chicken linguine, and we also ordered the classic chicken parmigiana with spaghetti bolognese. All of the food was delicious and we left very full and happy. We will definitely be back.
We had a fantastic dinner experience at ZOLAS last night with our family of four, including one gluten-free diner. The menu offered plenty of options, and our server was super attentive and provided great recommendations. The food arrived quickly and was piping hot and delicious! We took advantage of the $75 Wednesday night deal, where you get an appetizer to share, individual mains, and a dessert to share for every two people. What a great value! The food was absolutely delicious, and we highly recommend ZOLAS to anyone looking for a great dining experience. Can't wait to go back!
Zola's is hands down my FAVORITE restaurant and they nailed everything we ordered. Food was delicious, our server was personable and friendly. As always, the dining room was stunning! I love that the artwork is made up of featured artists so the decor is different every time we come. A++++ HIGHLY recommend for any occasion! They also had a market at the front of the house so you can take home meals and treats as well as pantry items. Lots of delicious Gluten free options
6 stars !! Best eggs benedict ever !! Excellent hollandaise sauce, eggs cooked to perfection and served on top of cappricola ham that was an excellent twist that put it over the top !! Attentive service without being intrusive... Early bird discount is 20% - can't wait to come back!
Amazing breakfast. Great selection. Friendly staff. Fast service. Seasoning on potatoes and tomato was amazing. Def a come back and visit again.
We heard some live music as we walked in and were pleased to see that a 2-man band was going to entertain for the evening. Lot’sa good retro crooning songs (Sinatra, etc..). I was surprised to see paper napkins and a bowl with little packaged butter like a fast food place would supply in your take-out bag. The rolls were stale and cold and left uneaten. Sup-par for the price point and an easy fix. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals though. The wines were good, the beers were cold and we all had a great time. A pretty, bright smile and impeccable service from our waiter (Brianne) made up for the rolls, butter and paper napkins. I would recommend Lola’s and will be back one day soon.
First time there last night and it was just marvelous! What a wonderful experience Everything was great- warm welcoming atmosphere; super friendly service that was spot on in terms of timing; food was just delicious (I had linguine in cream sauce with mushrooms and prosciutto, my fav; my friend had Angel hair pasta with sun-dried tomatoes and seared scallops; we shared a large Ceasar salad that was the perfect size to share). NB all their parts of fresh and make in house. I'm hooked! I tried my friend's dinner and it was so good, fresh and tasty with lovely garlic sauce. A pleasant surprise was the live music- a beautiful soloist on guitar playing Bossa Nova/Nora Jones type of jazz - her voice was soothing and smooth, sound level just right for the space. The colorful decor and Italian feel of the place was perfectly complimentary Had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back to try something else!
7-9A Breakfast special looked great as well. Amazing take on French Toast with granola. The bacon was crisped perfectly and the ambience of the room was extremely calming. Bailee was attentive and did an amazing job ensuring that the experience was free of any stress to begin the morning.
Busy lunchtime that died down after 3pm and was able to enjoy a bday lunch. My first time here. Had heard a lot about it. Quick thoughts... the space is older but nice. Paper napkin type place. Brunch ends at 3pm and then there is another menu. Continental meets Italian style dining with a little Italian style Market upfront. Service was professional, kind but minimal. Ordered was a Caesar salad with a grilled salmon filet added. Very healthy. The dressing was more of a vinaigrette served with lemon wedge. I did not eat the croutons. Salmon was well seasoned but was missing something. I ate it all, as is. Light, light lunch. I never finish a dish and I did! Rolls came with my meal..they were just ok. My company had the mushroom sandwich on focaccia. It came with a salad. She really liked it. The house white wine wss good. We wore our coats for much of the visit as unfortunately, it was very cold in there. Dessert was offered but nothing was done extra for the birthday and that's ok. But good to note. We liked the stain glass art that hung and that was for sale. We also liked that we were not rushed out of there as my company had come from quite aways and we chatted for a bit. Water glasses never refilled though. I could see the cooks making the fresh linguine in the back. I also met the owner. He was cordial. It didn't blow me away here but I'd like to try a pizza and a pasta item one day. I would recommend to others. Good location with plenty of parking. This restaurant has been here a long time. If you see one day on line that they are booked up re seating, call and they will likely take your reso that way.
The best blueberry pancakes!! Buttermilk, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside!
Enjoyed a recent visit to this established Italian eatery with friends . I recommend "Zola's Classic" which was a generous serving of flavorful and well-prepared pasta dish with shrimp, and chicken. The other choices at the table received good reviews as emwell. Service was friendly and efficient. Prices were a bit high but I would definitely return.
This is not our first visit. We have been to Zola's a few times but I think they have renovated since our last visit. Expensive but worth it. A very modern take on Italian food. I had the Seafood Paella. A traditional Spanish dish made with pasta instead of rice...loved it.
Best place west of Preston for Italian, and especially gluten-free Italian! They even had three options for GF beer for those who cannot consume gluten. Always a favourite place to go for special occasions, or even just to have a bite.
