I've been on crutches since February 6th, so I wanted some comfort Jamaican food. I ordered from GrubHub and they put all these tremendous taxes on my order so I was kind of leary and cynical about my food coming out good. When I tell you Queens came through!!this food is fresh and good. reminds me of a back Bush restaurant in ocho Rios..I'm sitting on the beach eating my ackee and saltfish. great job

The food was excellent, I'm very picky about where I eat at. I'm bajan and a friend said the food here was really good. So since I was in Richmond for some shopping with my daughterand granddaughter, we decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. My granddaughter got a side of mac and cheese and I tasted it. It was so good and so was my curry goat dinner. My daughter loved her food and my granddaughter. I will be stopping here again when I'm in Richmond. Spicy and delicious and plenty of food

The curry chicken was heaven and so was the cabbage. The oxtails could’ve been cooked a little bit longer because they were a little tough and the beans and rice was a little sweet.

I just called up here to leave a review and here i am writing one. That alone should let you know where i’m about to go with this First off, I ordered thru Uber Eats and when I arrived my food was hot, fresh, and ready. Next i walked around and saw they had a mini store with great jamaican foods/drinks, a great selection of ice cream, and most of all 4+ flavors of DG Ginger Beer. I picked up Pineapple Ginger and The OG Ginger Beer….Then I saw they had Cream Soda…. An executive decision had to be made so I asked Kay (very helpful and kind) and she recc i pick Pineapple and Cream soda. [Side note: I picked up 2 rooms temp sodas and she took them and said “let me get you some cold ones”…Customer service 10/10 ] I took her expert advice and not only did they pair well with my jerk chicken, rice and gravy, plantains, cabbage, and beef patty but they made me feel like i was in Jamaica (i haven’t been, yet). Fast forward a few hours later, the portion size is enough to feed 2 people so i’m sitting here eating it cold (since my hotel gave me a mini fridge but no microwave ) and the food is still great, lowkey even better lol I ordered rum cake but they were out so she subbed it for Chocolate cake. I’m not one to turn down cake in general so i tried it and it was moist and rich like grandmas cake on easter Sunday. Did i mention it was homemade?! I stopped mid bite and had to call up there to ask for Kay just to show her and the team some love! If you’re in richmond, and you want a taste of authentic jamaican food, i recc you visit Queens Jamaican Restaurant immediately!! Ask for Kay, she’ll take care of you! PS: I would have taken pics but I couldn’t wait to eat and I’m going back again before I leave richmond
