this is me and my boyfriend’s favorite place to eat! the food never disappoints. we love the miso soup and edamame. the super dragon roll is my favorite. my boyfriend is half japanese and he’s picky when it comes to finding good japanese food and he loves coming here. it’s the only place we’ll go for sushi now. sometimes the wait time to be seated and for the food to come out can be quite long but it’s worth it!
I’ve been eating at Happy Salmon for 15 years. Having lived in Japan it’s difficult for me to find sushi that reminds me of my time there. Happy Salmon respects rice. If you know, you know. I love this place and it’s our family comfort food.
There is no gluten free soy sauce. I bought some to leave for other customers and myself bc this place is so great. Mostly I bring my own GF soy sauce;).
Best sushi I’ve ever had in my life and the most amazing atmosphere! I felt like I took a vacation.
Came in recommended. Did not disappoint. Will go back.
This is really a special place. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, the owners are warm and friendly, and the food is dynamite. They really know how to select good seafood. There are some people complaining about the wait, but that is because they have one sushi chef and she makes all the sushi herself. It is lovingly and expertly prepared. Basically a perfect restaurant.
I'm hesitant to post a good review because I want this place to remain as I experienced it. Have you ever eaten something and felt gratitude? It's so good. The sushi rice was warm and fresh. The fish was perfect. I'll never forget this place.
The best sushi by far I've had in this area! I love the cozy ambiance. Definitely give yourself some time when planning your visit here. Every time we've come for dinner, there's only two people working- one making the sushi & one working the floor. It's worth the wait, service is good & sushi is DELICIOUS!
