This was some of the best nigiri I’ve had in the US! I was pleasantly surprised and ended up coming back the following night to try some of the specials. The golden eye snapper, bluefin tuna & red snapper carpaccio were some of my favorites! The sushi bar is separated from the main dining area for a more intimate experience.

Absolutely. Insanely. Delicious! Every dish looks so good and taste some yummy that it is impossible to stop eating! We arrived 30 min before closing time and still were provided great service and full menu to order from. Highly recommended spot !

Delicious! Service was top tier. I have a shellfish allergy and the waitress went above and beyond thinking of how cross contamination could occur. Very thankful I came here. I felt taken care of. THE RAMEN AND YAKISOBA ARE AMAZING.

So delicious! after the first bite I was saying YUMMMM!!!!!! I ordered the island roll and the angel shrimp roll. The island roll is absolutely fantastic and so flavorful- although it’s Krab inside rather than real crab - still so good! We also got the tilapia and the crunch munch roll. Very tasty! Presentation is wonderful and flavors are excellent. The service was friendly and quick. No complaints for this lovely restaurant. My favorite roll is still the island roll, we come to Hiko-A-Mon often and LOVE the sushi, the sashimi, and the customer service! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. I tried the manhattan roll and the octopus wheat balls (I forget the name). I wouldn’t have the balls again, they were good.

This is a place I come back to regularly. Great food, good amount of seating, and great vibes whether for a family meal, going out with friends, or a date. Some dishes I really like include: ginger salad, tempura vegetables, surf & turf roll, calamari roll, and Kentucky roll. Some sushi rolls I have not liked as much are Emile’s roll, hurricane roll, and derby roll (although derby roll is very filling). Sushi rolls range in price roughly from $9 to ~$19, with most being around $13.

This was our second visit to Hiko-a-mon with a large party for a birthday dinner. Both times, our group has used the large floor level table. First visit, food was ok and service was pretty poor. The big issue was our group had ordered a lot of sushi and food, and they waited for it all to be finished before serving it. Typically a good thing to do, but it cause some of the food to be dry and/or just not as good. Second visit however was stellar. Service was great and all the food was fresh and delicious. Across the table we had several appetizers, couple dozen sushi rolls, and several hibachi meals. Every one of them was presented beautifully and perfectly cooked (for the hibachi). All the sushi was amazing... most likely some of the best in the city. Based on the second visit I'd have no issue recommending this for any small or large gathering. They didn't disappoint.
