Ninja Japanese Sushi Steakhouse

I recently stopped by Ninja here in Cullman and had one of the better sushi experiences I’ve had locally. I ordered two rolls, the Sunshine Roll and the Phoenix Roll, and both delivered in their own way. The Sunshine Roll was an absolute standout (10/10). It’s layered with shrimp tempura, spicy crab, white tuna, lobster salad, masago, and avocado, all wrapped in soy paper. The combination of textures was incredible, crispy tempura, creamy lobster salad, and fresh, clean flavors from the tuna and avocado. Every bite felt balanced and intentional. It’s one of those rolls where you pause after the first bite because you know you picked the right one. The Phoenix Roll was also very good (8.5/10). This is a cooked, deep-fried roll filled with spicy tuna, crab, avocado, and cream cheese, topped with eel sauce. It’s rich, warm, and comforting, definitely more indulgent. The eel sauce adds just the right sweetness to balance the spice. If you’re in the mood for something fried and flavorful, this is a solid choice. Overall, Ninja continues to prove they’re a strong option for sushi in Cullman. Fresh ingredients, good flavor combinations, and satisfying portions. I’ll definitely be back and the Sunshine Roll will be on the order again.

One of my better hibachi experiences! I really like that this place will allow you to split a hibachi between 2 people for just an $8 up charge. You still get a huge portion. That is a huge selling point at this location in my opinion. All of the staff we interacted with were very accommodating and efficient. Quick drink refills. Fasted chef I’ve had as well, if that is a plus for you. Mushrooms were flavorful and broccoli was fresh. Definitely not my favorite ginger salad; it could have used way less dressing and it’s not a good ginger dressing compared to others I’ve had. BEST ONION SOUP ever though!! Steak was cooked perfectly and filet mignon is not much more expensive. Noodles were good, rice was great. I’d also recommend the spring rolls- incredibly fresh and flavorful. I’d absolutely come back.

Ninja is so good!!! If you love Japanese food, definitely give it a try. It’s my new favorite!

Incredible food, tons of choices, good service and a very nice atmosphere make this a great place to eat. We get a booth and forego the Teppanyaki table. The Hibachi menu is tremendous. Try the Beef Yakitori appetizer, beef surrounded by scallions with some kind of out of this world sauce! Definitely our favorite! The only small drawback is that it can be a bit noisy.

We celebrated my son’s 12th birthday at Ninja Japanese Steakhouse in Cullman and had such a great experience! Autumn was an amazing host from the moment we walked in. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly for our group. Celebrating a birthday with kids can sometimes be chaotic, but she handled everything with such a positive attitude and made our night feel special. Excellent service and a great place to celebrate!

This is the best sushi option in Cullman. Servers are awesome! Food is good. Plentiful. I’ve eaten here multiple times for dine in and to-go. It doesn’t disappoint.

I tend to frequent here so maybe i’m just biased, but the service is always amazing. I believe one of the servers is named GG, and he’s always great when I come in or when I bring a friend :) sushi is always fresh, and the hibachi is good too. 10/10 recommend.

This place was beyond amazing i would have never thought from the outside this place was going to be so amazing!! Great service, very clean, and food was fresh and delicious!!! The dinners are huge, and worth the price! Our chef that cooked for us, in front of us, was excellent, and funny!! Dinner and a show!!!
