I had such an enjoyable eating experience here! Talk about a gem for a small town like Thomasville! The Tsunami roll had an interesting crunchy element to it; it is the town’s favorite so it’s worth a try. Overall, I preferred the Rainbow roll, it was more flavorful & tasty. I also ordered the house special, which was both hearty and tasty! My favorite appetizer were the Shoto’s House Egg Rolls. They may look thin egg rolls but each bite enveloped my mouth with savory cream cheese & crab meat! They didn’t cheat you on either ingredient. I highly recommend checking out this lovely restaurant! Everything here is homemade & it genuinely tastes like it too!!
A friend of our took us to Shoto's. I did not think I would like it but our friend had us to take me, wife, and our friend. The food was awesome we had steak rice and sweet carrots yummy . I have never had sweet carrots before but it was great. The steak was very very great.
Decent rolls for the price. For the decor and ambiance, would suggest a fresh coat of paint and choose the same temperature of lighting to be used. Beyond that its a decent spot to get some sushi.
I’ve been coming here almost every week for a year for the hibachi and had no idea they had sushi - GAME CHANGER!!! I love the chicken hibachi, it’s always great time after time and with some substitutions (white rice & zucchini) it’s a relatively healthy cheat meal. I just tried the bagel deluxe and crazy crab rolls and they’re really good. Overall, I love this place and highly recommend. They’re incredibly fast preparing and I’ve never been disappointed in either quality or taste. I love that I live so close since I come here so often!!
Shoto's is the place you go when you want a quick Japanese style meal. It's fairly inexpensive and the staff are friendly. They offer a few vegan options too.
Only negative thing about the food is the salad they gave me a bowl of just lettuce. Then the only option I had for salad dressing was the white sauce or ginger sauce and I don't eat either one. Good thing is the main dish was more than enough to fill me up so I wasn't too sad about it.
Quick service with a family owned feel. The food was very good for the price. Would 100% stop by again when in the area.
Love eating here. The staff are always friendly. The food is good and I’m always happy when I leave. I would suggest giving it a try if you are in the area. They have a large dining area that can accommodate different size parties. We always get seated quickly even when we have a large group. The food is always consistent, which is always a plus in my book.
