Lady is very sweet, she makes everything fresh, authentic. Atmosphere is a little scary but the food is great.
We stopped in because my husband was craving some Korean food. We were greated by a friendly, sweet couple who made us feel right at home. I ordered the Bibimbab and the guys ordered pork and beef Bulgogi. We also ordered the Mandu (fried dumplings) to share. After a reasonable amount of time, our prepared food was brought to us with dishes of sauces and a variety of pickled veggies and kimchi. Everything was delicious...we didn't leave a single grain of rice! We'll definitely be back.
I had the bulgogi and my husband had the spicy pork. It was good. It also came with 3 dumplings chicken I believe. I had white rice my husband had fried rice. It came with the vegetables on the side they were a little spicy so if you dont like spicy you may not like them. I like spice so it didn't really bother me. Overall it was a good experience. Service was pleasant.
Nice little place with excellent tasting freshly made meals. For those who like spicy hot meals, request for the hot sauce. The chef comes out to issue a warning that it be used sparingly. Yours truly felt like a dragon afterward. We had the dumplings, beef bulgogi, and some shrimp fried rice. We plan to go back soon. For 3 adults, a teenager, and a toddler, we racked up approximately a $100 bill, which is not bad for the quality and quantity of food served.
I happened to be in the area for some business, and decided to try out this place. It is a bit of an enigma. It is not very easily marked. In fact, I had to make sure I'm at the right place when I pulled into the parking lot. First thing you'll notice is the big sign at the door stating "TAKE OUT ONLY!" When I entered the establishment, there was no question that it was take out only, as there are no tables for seating. The staff came and asked me for my order, and they were friendly and helpful enough to get my order correct. It took less than 10 minutes for my order to come out. I have to say, the food was very flavorful. Portions were huge, with another box full of side items, like kimchi and pickled turnips. So if you don't mind a take out meal, try this place for their Spicy Pork or Bulgogi.
This place proves why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Physically, it isn't very appealing, but the food is delicious! I had the best kimchi, dumplings, and beef bulgogi here. It was so good, my picky son ate and loved it! We definitely will be going back..... So sad.. tomorrow, May 1, 2021, is their last day.
Authentic Korean experience. Portion sizes run on the small side and more variety of the little table dishes would be nice. Considering the area, this is a great place for lunch.
It's now the K-Restaurant. And Oh my god, it's sooooo good. We've always loved it when it was Seoul, but there's a few new flavors brewing. I do miss the way the sides were set up before. The "tofu" was better the old way. Other than that, super good and impressed with the flavors.
