We stopped into Aparicio’s on a whim, and wow—what a pleasant surprise! We were a little unsure at first since we didn’t know what to expect, but from the moment we walked in, the experience exceeded our expectations. Even with a small line, the host greeted us right away and was super friendly. By the time we got to the front (maybe a five-minute wait at most), he apologized for the short delay and made us feel genuinely welcome. When we mentioned it was our first visit, he brought out samples of all the meats so we could get a feel for what they offered—such a nice touch! We ended up ordering the California burrito, a few tacos, chips and queso, and their refreshers—dragon fruit and strawberry limeade. Honestly, everything was delicious. The only thing that could’ve made the drinks better is if they came with a splash of vodka—but even without, they were super refreshing. We’ve been on the hunt for a solid California burrito in the area, and we’re so glad we finally found “the one.” We’ve been back several times since, and Aparicio’s has officially become our go-to spot for Cali burritos.

This place is a hidden gem. We were greeted at the front counter, where you order. The host asked if it was our first time there (it was). Because of this, he immediately got us samples of their meat options to try. The space is small and the decor offers a few Instagram worthy photo ops; overall it's not why your there and doesn't totally convey the awesome experience you're going to have. The hospitality alone would make me go back, but the food is the real star. Everything is seasoned and grilled to perfection. The portion sizes are huge - make sure you're hungry when you go. We were very pleasantly surprised by the fresh corn used for the Hot Cheeto elote we ordered - by far the best we've had in the Austin area. We also ordered a couple of the refreshers - they tasted just as great as they looked.

I stopped into Aparicio's for the first time and had a great experience! I ordered the strawberry limeade refresher, the rajas chips and queso (with corn and poblanos - delicious!), and two carne asada tacos. Since it was my first visit and I couldn't decide what to try, they even offered me a few testers, such a nice touch. The vibe is great too: cool drinks, good music, and a welcoming atmosphere. Both the cook and the person at the front were very friendly and made me feel right at home. I'll definitely be back for dinner and drinks with friends. Great local business!

My husband and I went for the first time and were treated very well. Food was tasty, they warned what we were ordering was enough for 2-3 people. I appreciate the honesty so we didn't order too much. Offered us three complimentary tacos(they picked types) to sample options since it was our first time. Everything we ate and drank was great. Music was loud. Our main food did take awhile to arrive, but was worth the wait. They do have limited days and hours of operation, so be aware so you are not disappointed.

I've had the pleasure of eating here multiple times over the years. They have knocked every single plate and experience out of the park. This is a rare gem. Im sad if the news is true that they closed.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here at Aparicio’s, and we were blown away by the entire experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and relaxed. We were greeted right away by a friendly host who welcomed us with a smile. Sensing we were a little unsure of what to order, she kindly brought out samples of their meats along with two drink tastings to help us decide—such a thoughtful touch! Once we placed our order, everything came out quickly, and the presentation was as impressive as the flavors. The drinks were not only refreshing but also beautifully crafted! As for the food, every bite was bursting with flavor and served in generous portions. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, they surprised us with a dessert sample near the end of our meal, and it was absolutely divine. Aparicio’s is a hidden treasure we’re so glad we discovered. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and welcoming dining experience!

We've been here a few times since it opened. The staff is always friendly. We've enjoyed everything we've tried. My wife and I shared a carne asada quesadilla and had food leftover. Our daughter got a kid's cheese quesadilla that could easily feed 2 adults. If you like spicy salsa, you'll love their salsas. They have a great flavor. But you need to like spicy bc they aren't mild at all.

First time visiting this place, and it’s absolutely amazing. The only drawback is their limited business hours, open only from Thursday to Sunday. Other than that, everything is perfect. Atmosphere: 5/5 - Cozy with an incredible interior. Taste: 4/5 - The food was a bit too spicy for my taste, but still delicious. Quantity: 5/5 - The tacos are Texas-sized, for sure. Customer Service: 5/5 - The owner himself served us and did an excellent job. He’s very hardworking and kind.
