1st time going to the restaurant. Parking is decent there’s always lots of parking on Osborne and if not lots of side roads to park on. Atmosphere is really cool. Lots of Mexican products sold in store and some misc items as well. Menu is small but it seems like they just focus on what they do best and I respect the shit out of that. My partner and I had the tacos. I would highly recommended you try the mix and match (beef, chicken and pork). All of them were really good but the pork seemed to have stood out. Meat was really tender and flavours were really fresh. We also got the tortilla chips and guacamole dip and that was very good. The restaurant was very clean and had a lot of seating. If you’re a hungry I’d recommend getting 2 orders of the tacos. The three were good for a snack. Staff were very polite. Appeared to be a family run business so it’s always nice to support the local folks! Would recommend to drop in and give it a try!
A nice little family run business, that serves authentic homemade tacos. I ordered the Rajas Tacos and also tried one Tinga Taco. The tacos were all quite tasty and flavourful. The portions are on the small side, but were still quite filling, and are also very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and service was very quick. They have a nice dining area, and they also sell a variety of Mexican products.
HANDS DOWN BEST TACOS IN THE CITY!!! These have been my favourite tacos for 10+ years. Sometimes I dream about them. If I'm PMSING I'll cry for them. These tacos are life changing. BMC I love you. P.s. TRY THE APPLE SODA!!!!
Tacos are great and clearly from scratch. 10/10, only issue is that osborne is quite crowded but that’s not the restaurants fault lol.
Bmc market is an awesome place for some simple genuine tacos! Fresh corn tortillas, and the chorizo is great! House made hot sauces, plus they have Mexican coke which is a bonus.
Really enjoyed my lunch experience today at BMC Market! Food was delicious but coupled with kind and caring service from the staff. Had their quesadillas today - pastor > carnitas > barbacoa (in order of favourite to least). Definitely going to be trying their medium or hot salsas too. Decided to order some takeout tacos as well and they were thoughtful enough to time making the tacos to ensure freshness as I was about to leave, which was really appreciated. Reasonably priced. They serve beef tongue menu over the weekends so will be back one of these days to try that out!
BMC Market is a delightful gem offering an authentic taste of Mexico right in Winnipeg. As a frequent visitor to Mexico, I was thrilled to discover a spot that captures the essence of the cuisine so accurately. While chain restaurants abound, BMC's charm lies in its affordable prices and genuine Mexican flair. From the tantalizing variety of meats to the impeccably fresh tortillas, every bite transported me back to the sun-soaked streets of Mexico. Moreover, the warm hospitality of the lovely ladies running the restaurant added to the overall experience, making us eager to return and support this culinary treasure.
