Absolutely fell in love with this place the second I saw the building. The service is phenomenal - genuinely friendly and so proud of the food they’re making. Everything is made in house. The tortillas are exquisite. The tamales are incredible. Finally the pork green chili is exceptional. I’ve been back into Detroit for a couple of weeks and can’t stop thinking about this place.
I've been diving into the couches looking for change since I was a child to get the Camargo's special burritos, still delicious today. So glad that they're still around to take my kiddos to enjoy.
The burritos are amazing. Called in an order of a variety. Asada, fajitas, steak just to name a few. Very polite and fast service. The taste is . Recommend 10/10
Well my mother grew up going there and so did I and we always love coming here the food never disappoints and the people never disappoint so yes I would definitely recommend it here
Picked up the pork and red Chile tamales for Christmas eve. Everyone loved them. Also got the smothered bean burrito. OMG just like I remember. Sooo good. I should have got two, shared with my daughter.
Camargos: A Hole-in-the-Wall Burrito Gem I recently discovered Camargos thanks to a friend's recommendation, and I'm so glad I did! This unassuming spot is a true hidden treasure. I sampled three burritos: the beef and rellino, the beef and Carnes desaperda, and the classic bean and cheese. Each one was a delicious surprise. The handmade flour tortillas were the perfect vessel for the generously filled, flavorful contents. I loved the option of having the chilled sauce either inside or outside the burrito. The burritos were massive and packed with flavor. If you find yourself in Denver, Camargos is an absolute must-try! Highlights: * Large, handmade flour tortillas * Generous fillings * Delicious flavor combinations * Option for chilled sauce inside or outside
Locally owned and operated, with incredible flavors. I only tried the tamales, but they were outstanding. Please support this spot so it sticks around forever!
