This place is a hidden treasure! The menudo is clean well and taste delicious!!! The carnitas to!Come early because the tend to sell out.so good they always have a line ! Hits the spot every-time !!! A must try out
Great food. The carnitas are delicious. Prices are fair, and they have a place to sit and eat there. Bathrooms are always very clean. My 3 year old loves the food (rice and beans with carnitas taco). They speak English and Spanish. *El lugar es limpio y la comida es muy Rica. Las carnitas son mis favoritas. Puedes Comer adentro o pedir para llevar. Las muchas son amables y atienden rapido.*
The food is excellent. Customer service is outstanding. Very clean . Great place to grab a yummy bite of good food. Peace.
This place is good. You will get charged extra for the salsas but that's ok, everything has gotten expensive nowadays, I don't expect anything for free. I ordered a chicharron and tortillas, and it was delicious.
I had to go early to pay so someone could pick up for breakfast. The food was good, and I left my paper of who wanted what, and they even boxed then individually and added names. Everyone enjoyed the breakfast tacos, and I got myself a burrito the day before, and it was very tasty. The lady was alone and washed her hands after every customer.
I am not a menudo expert but I’m no rookie either. Coming to Texas from Chicago, I know I have a background in authentic Mexican food but I thought/hoped I could find something even more intense, so much closer to the border. Just 0.2 miles from my hotel, I found it. After a brief walk through the rain (well worth it given the outcome), I got a huge bowl of menudo for 7.99 which included 4 or 5 hot tortillas, presumably ‘a la mano’. I judge menudo on a few criteria. Was the broth greasy? (No). Was the tripe plentiful? (Yes). Was the tripe properly cooked and not gummy or stringy? (It was perfect). Of course they also provided the necessary accoutrements of limes, diced onion and jalapeño. For a moment I wondered where the oregano and chile de arbol was, until I found it already at the table. Easy 5 star review. I’d be here every weekend if I could.
$2.99/taco but the serving is huge!!! Twice the size of what I usually get served at other tacos places! I always drove by and was curious. Definitely didn’t disappoint! Everything was so yummy. They also have the platter for $12.99 with rice and beans.
I tried carnitas, fajitas, beans and rice, it's the real Mexican flavor.
