Great food and service in quite a unique area for a Mexican restaurant. The design is cool and the upstairs bar is a nice area to grab a drink with a buddy over lunch or dinner while watching ESPN. Best Mexican restaurant location in Clemson.
This was my first time eating here and it was really good the food was fresh and had really good flavor the service was great the chips and salsa were very tasty I’m glad I tried it
My sister and I came here and we enjoyed the food and service! We will be back again! Thank yall so much! Our waitress was so sweet, I don't remember her name but she is great! Can't wait to come again!
This place is a quaint little place. Clean and full of friendly people. I ordered the Barbecue Chimichanga today. At first I thought that didn’t really go together. But the pulled pork bbq was excellent and it really did go the rest of the meal. You can get it with a side of refried beans or rice. I chose the refried beans and they were also excellent. The chips were crisp and the salsa was right on spot. I will be back!
Heard about El Jimador on the local sports radio 105.5 The Roar when advertising $1 tacos on Monday. Apparently this location does not honor that deal which was disappointing but we decided to stay and try the restaurant anyways. Chips were okay, not as hot and fresh as one would like but otherwise acceptable. Salsa was good so no issues there. I ordered the Pacifico Fajitas and my daughter ordered three beef and cheese tacos. The taste of the food was good, but I only received 2 flour tortillas and they had obviously been in the tin foil way too long as they had fused together. Be warned for the kids. They have full onion chunks in ground beef for tacos which my daughter did not care for at all (I personally thought they tasted great.) For the price point the portion size was adequate but the best part of the visit and reason I’ll likely return with my wife was the service. The young woman who took care of us was pleasant, attentive, and obviously cared that we were being taken care of properly. Overall decent experience so I’ll return and try another item in the future.
Absolutely incredible!! Blanca was our waitress and she was wonderful! She checked on us and made sure we never ran out of sweet tea. The atmosphere was amazing. The menu prices were super reasonable. The food was so delicious. This was genuinely one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. We will certainly be back!
For delicious southwestern Mexican Fare with an authentic atmosphere come over to El Jimador! FOOD: The salsa tastes fresh and I splashed it all over my beef chimichanga (the shredded beef was FAR superior to the TASTY ground beef) The beans and rice we're good and the tea was perfect. The menu is VAST and the food came out hot and quickly. SERVICE: We were greeted right away and attended to well. Ask to sit in the upstairs or book your party on the 3rd floor (see sky light pic). LOCATION: right off 123 near Lowe's PRICE: reasonable ATMOSPHERE: This is the one of the best decorated restaurants. From the carved wood everywhere right down to the floor and bae to the comfy booths and seats the theme is gorgeous
Thoroughly enjoyed food and service (called order in and pickup 10 minutes later). Hot and delicious, we'll be back for more. Slow down because you might pass the place, it looks like 2 story office building lot. Indoor and outdoor dining, small and unique.
