El Mariachi

Went on a Tuesday night where tacos are $2 each. Tried 4or 5 different types. Was not disappointed everyone had unique authentic flavor. Something different than the regular places. Atmosphere was cool as well

Came here for the first time for the $2 taco Tuesday we found advertised online. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively, the workers kind and knowledgeable. A large variety of tacos to pick from, we got the four beef and four chicken tacos. All tasted great and came with 6 sauces to pick from. The tacos are not loaded to the brim… but what do you expect for $2? The meat and flavouring is tasty! First-come come first serve but the wait wasn't unbearable, service was quick but distant (I imagine from the high traffic), and food came out fast. Definitely recommend the horchata drink! Turly reminded me of my time in PVR, the Mexican videos on the TV had us looking at flights!

Been coming here for years! Great Mexican food menu and everything tastes fantastic! My favourite day here is Taco Tuesday! You absolutely can’t beat the price($2 each), especially for the quality and taste of their tacos! They have a huge selection of tacos on Tuesdays compared to other days of the week! Their homemade hot sauces are amazing too! The service is always so cheerful and welcoming! The restaurant itself has a very neat Mexican vibe and has a little grocery store in the back of various Mexican foods and condiments. I frequent this place no less than once a month and always look forward to coming back! Update: Best Taco Tuesday in the city…

First time coming here…on taco Tuesday no less. Place was packed and lined up. Had to wait about 15-20mins as it was so busy. But this was great to see the restaurant doing so well. Tacos were delicious. Nice sauces to add flavour too as well. Guessing because it was so busy, the food took a little while to get to our table. But it was worth the wait. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

This food is the real deal and it tastes amazing. I ordered for the first time and I'm so impressed. I found the service speedy and staff very very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend if your looking for authentic Mexican food. I'll definitely order again.

I have visited El Mariachi for many 2 dollar taco tuesdays. The vibes and the eats are always incredible. I love the painted chairs and tables and music. The last time I went there was an incredibly talented mariachi singer in. So much fun. Everyone in the building has a smile on their face, guests and servers alike. They don’t hold back of nacho toppings and their guacamole is worth the money. There are so many options for taco flavours and they’re all so good. On Tuesdays you may have to wait in line for a table, so dress for the weather. I recommend arriving before 5 or after 7. Either way it’s worth the wait

We wanted a quick bite the place was great, so much colors! Food and service was excellent too. We had tacos variety 4 mix and match, we also ordered the tortilla with the cheese dip and you whipped all and voila - really good food!

We come here every week for taco Tuesday and it never disappoints! Leslie is so attentive and is very knowledgeable in all the food items. She always recommends the enmoladas because of the mole… hmmmm delish!!!

Came here with some friends and enjoyed our time. The place was a little quieter than I’ve seen it before, but the atmosphere was still welcoming. The Choriqueso was delicious! The cheese pull was a beauty to behold. The chorizo huarache was really good as well! The food is a little on the expensive side, but the quality and flavour make it worth it. EDIT: I have since ordered the molcajete - it was stellar!

Delicious Mexican restaurant with good portion sizes. Gluten-free items are not marked but staff were helpful and knowledgeable to ensure no cross contamination (celiac). Enjoyed the enchiladas verdes and enfriijoladas. Would recommend both.

10/10. Taco Tuesday people say it’s “disappointing” but tbh you’re paying 2 dollars for a taco in an economy that would charge you 6 so I will not complain. You can eat and be full for under 20 dollars so that’s a win in my books. Our server was lovely and had good conversation with us. Shorter young girl with long dark hair! Great experience!

Great place for traditional Mexican cuisine, not the westernized, flavourless stuff you get at a lot of other places in the city. You know it’s a banger when theres a platter of salsas that are all 10/10. Taco Tuesday deal is fantastic. Tacos are slightly smaller on Tuesday but still a fantastic deal. Tastes great. 100% would recommend. Very comparable to tacos Mexico memorial in Calgary for authentic Mexican fare.
