El Poblano

I ordered the Chile Relleno and it was the best I ever had. The pablano was large, fresh and stuffed just right with warm, melted cheese. Their salsa was not too thick, not too runny, with just the right amount of sweetness. Top shelf Margarita complimented the whole meal. Highly recommend!

We have enjoyed eating at El Poblano a few times when visiting in the area. Overall, their food is tasty, but a bit bland compared to my favorite Mexican restaurants elsewhere. If you want more heat, ask for their hotter salsa. It is very hot but I add small amounts For our recent visit we had five diners. We ordered street tacos, enchiladas, vegetarian combo, and Mexican catfish we also had a large guacamole which was good once we added some salsa It was busy and the service was slow this time.

We had dinner here while we were visiting the area. It was memorial Day weekend and they were very busy. Our food was delicious and I would return to eat there again. I had one of the best and most beautiful presented taco salads with chicken that I have ever had. We travel quite often and when we eat at a Mexican restaurant, I typically order a taco salad. This particular salad was put together just perfectly.. The warm shredded chicken was on the bottom, and the cold items like lettuce, tomato,and cheese were on top as they should be. The taco shell that it was presented in was not your standard taco shell. The taco shell they used made the salad more presentable. Even though the restaurant was short-staffed, I would definitely go back. The manager said it was because of a holiday weekend that they were so busy.

We enjoyed Taco Tuesday (starts at 4 pm). The pork carnitas tacos and fish tacos were my favorites. We also had beef, steak, shrimp, and chicken tacos. The Taco Tuesday special isn't on the menu. Beef and chicken tacos are $1.50 and Steak, Pork, Shrimp, and Fish tacos are $2.50. They had a sign on the door explaining they were short staffed and appreciating our patience. It did take a while for all of our orders to come out, but it also gave us an opportunity to add a few extra tacos to our order. The hostess and wait staff were delightful.

Nice servers, super fast service. Never had a strip of skirt steak before. It was a little tough, but that's just the cut of meat. Cheese enchiladas and red sauce were good. The chicken burrito was good too and smothered with cheese.

Very good Mexican restaurant for dine-in and take out in Fairfield Bay. Simple, yet elegant, wonderful service with limited but tasty food options. While they didn't have black beans, their refried beans were good enough given the very well prepared vegetarian dishes. The Chile Rellano is very tasty, nicely wrapped, with yummy batter and with right amount of red sauce. The vegetarian fajitas are awesomely tasty with a good amount that suffice for two. Their desserts, both Sopapillas and Fried Ice Cream, are well made with joy for the taste buds. Overall the entire family enjoyed their food and if time permits, we might even return before we head back home.

Cute small a little expensive and our waitress only came to the table once or twice the rest of the time we kind of got waited on by what I'm assuming was the host/table busser I'm not sure he didnt seem super enthusiastic to be there or to be doing anything really

I ordered a steak quesadilla and it was delicious. My husband got tacos and to be honest we didn't care about them. Their picante salsa was so good and very SPICY! I recommend to try their chocolate '3 Leches' cake, the flavor is so similar to Mexican cakes. We will be back.
