Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant #2

Very cool restaurant with big tables and nice decor. Ordered some enchiladas and a side of rice and beans. The green enchiladas were good! I would have preferred more of a kick, though. The waiter had a hard time understanding my order. He was probably new. Will definitely go back to try more food.

The birria here is amazing! They also always participate in taco week. And this year they did burger week. The burger was so good that we went twice.

Overall decent experience. While nothing impressive, everything was well rounded. Nice and quick service. Birria tacos were really good. We also got lunch specials which were super nice deal. Got. The fajitas and the heuvos were both pretty good but again not surprising. The decor and atmosphere were both really nice

When we stopped in late and the restaurant was packed. Food is good, I tried the Albondigas (Mexican meatball) I never had it before, I really liked it. The Mrs. had a Burrito. The Deserts were awesome. Great Beer and Mixed Drinks. We will be back maybe earlier in the evening.

This is a well run Mexican Restaurant. The portions are huge! The atmosphere is amazing and the food is sooo good. This was our first time here and we absolutely loved it. All the staff was very attentive and cared about your experience. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area and want Mexican.

This is an americanized mexican location in my opinion. The service we received was exceptional and ensured our order was received without any issues. The tacos were fantastic with the broth and chili oil, but the taquitos were lackluster with flavor and over cooked. The chips and salsa were great but the "fresh" guacamole was too mushy and didn't really taste fresh. I would suggest making the guacamole in front of the customer. Overall, great place to come and eat tacos!

Charlottesville, VA location: Visited on 12/7/2025 Sad to see the low ratings, because I thought that this is a great, colorful Mexican restaurant with really tasty food and friendly ambiance. Started with great chips and salsa along with Guadalajara especial for me, the Fajita texana for my wife, Polo con chorizo for my grand daughters fiancée and some Birra tacos shared with my daughter and grand daughter. But the highlight of the evening was Abby... our wonderful and wonderfully entertaining waitress. She kept the bunch of us laughing all night (not really ALL night... but a lot!) Glad we came here after my younger grand daughter was 'dying' for some tacos, but when it came time to order, went for chicken nuggets and fries. Abby really went to town bustin' her chops. So funny. Anyway... happy to come back next time we're in town.

Excellent food and service. Stopped by on our way home, and this place is amazing! The food was fresh and flavorful. Our bill was a bit higher because we had margaritas and appetizers, but they were well worth it. We will be back next time we are in Charlottesville.
