Hilarios Tacos

Great salsa bar 9/10 on the flavors. Birria tacos and burrito were very good 8/10. Consome was decent 7/10. Ceviche was good but needed more lime. Overall pretty good place and decent prices, give them a shot.

Wow. I saw someone's review with pictures of the food and had to stop. At first I walked in and was underwhelmed by the atmosphere. No decorations or board menu. My family and I ordered. 2 burritos ; breakfast burrito and a fish and shrimp burrito. 1 pastor tacos with birria on top. There is a salsa bar and it is bomb! As a Mexican who grew up with home-cooked meals, I can say that the salsa was above par compared to the places in the area. As for the food. I don't think I have been my family devour their burritos so fast. Thwu were so good they didn't put them down. Plus the sizes are enormous! 1 burrito is definetely share worthy. I got the nachos and it was the same great quantity. Shareable. Very delicious. These are not typical American melted cheese type of nachos. They are Mexican nachos with pico de gallo, frijoles, guacamole. Very good. I had to take mine home I'm excited to come back again and try the seafood menu. Kid friendly, wheelchair accessible, bathroom on premises. Staff speaks bilingual! Sorry for the lack of picks. We got the food and starting eating !

My husband love their Al pastor burrito we ate here twice this week. Our favorites: ⭐ Al pastor burrito ⭐ Taco birria ⭐ Taco al pastor ⭐ Shrimp ceviche Average: Loaded fries Burrito bowl Love their free chips and self-serve salsa counter. Place is clean and staff are excellent.

So happy we found this little gem.. they seriously have the best shrimp ceviche I’ve ever had.. the shrimp are big, clean and bursting with flavor. You can really taste the freshness!! Their chicken tacos are also my favorite probably the best I’ve had in SCV. Definitely my new favorite spot.

I remember when Hilarious was just a taco truck in sierra highway. They were a small family taco truck now they are a full blown restaurant. Ive been to many taco trucks but Hilarious hits differently than the rest. I remember the first time I ate a birria taco from Hilarious….it hit my soul. The flavor hits like a Michelin star restaurant. If there’s anything you should try first at Hilarious it’s his Birria tacos with consume. I take my girlfriend here, my friends, my coworkers, and family. Their desserts are as delicious as their tacos. I highly recommend them.

Decided to stop at this spot on our way to Lake Casitas Camp ground. Had the breakfast chilaquiles with green salsa and guacamole with chips. Super excited because they had all the Bang flavors had my fave Orange bang. Very delicious and not super heavy to the tummy.

So happy they have finally opened their restaurant at 28440 Haskell Canyon Rd!!! The food is amazing especially the shrimp Ceviche hands down the best I’ve had ever! The owners are hard working and super friendly , always make us feel like family when we come in.. give these guys a try you won’t be disappointed

This is a hidden gem. If you crave street tacos this is your spot. Salsa bar offering five different flavors to spice up the delicious tacos. Great flavor and healthy servings.
