La Camarona is a Mexican style restaurant that specializes in seafood and delicious cocktails! They have tons of great options whether you're in the mood for seafood or not! I tried the Porterhouse steak which was flambéed table side with tequila and served with mash potatoes and a cheese stuffed pepper. Even though the portion sizes were on the larger side, each dish still had a very nice presentation. The fish tacos were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The Piña Loca was amazing! I loved the combo of the savory cheesy shrimp and sweet pineapple chunks. The octopus was tender and had a nice char flavor. For drinks, if you're indecisive like me, I definitely recommend a Margarita Flight! (My favorites were the Blue Jalapeño and Strawberry). We also tried the Paloma which was served in a custom La Camarona cup and a few other cocktails (some smoked table side). Both of the deserts we had were amazing! The Pan de Elote was very moist and the churros were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. There's plenty of seating available for large groups. Definitely check them out!
1000/10 best seafood and bar service in Delware . If you want a quiet dinner don’t come here but if you’re looking for great music and delicious food this is the place to go !! Friday night karaoke is my favorite. The Staff is friendly and fun . Food is top notch and fresh. I enjoyed the agua chile ribs and “el Rey “ molcajete . My favorite drink was the house sangria and mangoneada margarita Our server joss was amazing and attentive .
First time trying La Camarona. Food and service 6 delightful. We had ordered Copa Marimacha y Morcajete el Rey. The waitress was very accommodating with a little incident we found on our dish.
The food was absolutely amazing. I went solo and loved the initial shrimp soup with cracker. I had the octopus, it was so delicious. I will be back with my hubbie next time!
We found this place on accident while trying to find something open on Easter while working out of town. They were really busy, so we figured it would be good. We had steak fajitas, shrimp fajitas, and shrimp cocktail. Everything was really good. The salsa that was with the chips was different. It wasn't ceviche, but green and good. The margaritas were good and strong. We'd visit again.
First time eating at LA Camarona, and it won't be my last. The food is absolutely delicious. I had the fish tacos and house margaritas. I can't say it enough, DELICIOUS. Periscila, THANK YOU, you are the best.
Karen was our server.. talk about amazing service attention to detail. The food was honestly delicious. My pictures don't do it any justice.. only thing is the restaurant is located in the back hard to find if you aren't paying close attention
Mexican seafood at it's finest. Foods great service is good. We had the governor quesadilla super tasty. The chips and salad are very tasty as well. I'll be back, place is located behind the IHOP.
