My wife wanted something different, so we looked up this place. When we arrived, we weren’t sure if it was a dine in type place. It looked like a convenience store, but I encouraged her to go in. I’m glad she listened this time. lol. There’s a friendly guy as soon as you walk in that helped us with the menu. We sat ourselves and waited, and then the food arrived. We really enjoyed, and will be back to visit. In the meantime, we will encourage others to give them a try.
Excellent service, kind answers to questions, quick table delivery. The tacos, though. The tacos are very, very, very good. Really really good. We had carne asada, al pastor, carnitas, and quesabirria. All were absolutely top notch. The salsas were great too — especially the orange tomato/arbol kind in a yellow squeeze bottle.
La Lupita Carniceria y Taqueria offers an authentic and vibrant Mexican dining experience with fresh, flavorful ingredients and traditional recipes. The tacos, meats, and other dishes are generously portioned and full of flavor. The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. With its casual setting and delicious food, it’s a great spot for families, friends, or anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine in a relaxed environment.
We were here a while back and our food was delicious. I guess I forgot to leave a review then. Last night we were passing through Belton and my wife said we should stop at the small grocery store and eat dinner there. Again, our meals were delicious, we were greeted with smiles and friendly people. They were helpful by explaining the menu items and taking our order. We chose a table and our food was brought to us hot and delicious. We will be back soon. We enjoyed the atmosphere of eating in a small grocery store. It is clean and inviting. The folks here work hard to please everyone. You need to try this place! Come inside, eat a meal, and pick up a few things from the grocery store before heading home. Enjoy!
The mini mexican grocery/hole-in-the-wall restaurant has some delicious food like huevos rancheros. Two semi runny eggs with a verde sauce on top next to Mexican rice, beans, and a side of shredded lettuce, fresh tomato, and avocado slices. The dish comes with 4 steamed corn tortilla to wrap it up in. Amazing for roughly $10 (I forgot how much it was). Supposedly the al pastor tacos are amazing says the lady behind the counter. Two things to consider: the menu is huge and close to the floor so look left when you walk in. Second, you pay after so please take your paper order ticket to the register.
Great location with wide variety on the menu. Also convenient for snacks and meats. Best tamales.
My brother showed me this spot a while back, he used to work down the street… been there a couple times, and it always smacks… highly recommend the tacos, great quality and great price.
The best tacos! I love the pastor & lengua tacos. The orange sauce is . I always get a few pounds of the raw pastor to go from the fresh meats they have.
