Los Frijoles Merendero Y Cantina

Honestly. I love frijoles so much and i was so disappointed they were tasteless. I’m a frijolero and yeah… was disappointed but everything else was awesome!!! There was a guy singing… he brought me good memories of my father singing those old style songs…. Very nice waiters. Super attentive and as a matter of fact. I would come back for the waiters. They were very on top of their service -

Such an interesting place. The details inside and outside the restaurant made me feel like I hopped in a time machine. We got the Mixta doble and oh man, the salsas were amazing! I practically drank them. The chicharrones were a bit of a letdown since they came out cold, but the asado puerco totally made up for it (i guess there was a beef option too).

I have nothing to say. The most delicious meat I’ve ever had in my life! You should try this to complete your journey to Mexico, I wish I could give 10 ⭐

This place is in a small gated plaza called La Mexicana. It is beautiful in there with tons of parking and little pop up shops. The restaurant itself is gorgeous! It has so much decorations to look at, on weekends they have a beautiful breakfast buffet and then in the afternoon they start their regular menu. When we got their we did have to wait a bit but it did not take long, we got seated and they took our drink orders quick. They brought us delicious salsa and tostadas as a botana. The entrees did not take long to come out but oh my! The food was delicious and it had a while bunch of flavors. It was exquisite and very enjoyable. I am definitely will be coming back!

They had 2 people doing a live show. Food was good. Alot of food breakfast choices, bread, fruit and dessert.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is very unique and cool! The outdoor decor with ancient vehicles was picture worthy. I ordered the carne asada tacos, which were very tasty; as well as the mixto fajitas. Portions are generous and I couldn’t finish my meal and had to take the leftovers back home! The dishes are decently priced . I recommend this restaurant.

Welcome to a typical Mexican restaurant. You can taste several and local food and drinks. Prices are fair and quality is very good. If you are in Monterrey, take your time to know this place. There is a little museum where you will find cars, bottles, cans, handcrafted products... Parking are is well dimensioned. Take a lot of pictures and share with yours friends....

Great place to visit if you’re on vacations or to take people to experience the Mexican culture and regional food. The food is not great quality as usual with buffets, but you get to taste different dishes and desserts. The details in the decor are wonderful and a joy to discover every corner while eating.
