Quickly becoming my favorite Mexican food joint in the Santa Cruz area. Feels like home. Handmade tortillas, cash only, simple menu but everything is fresh and delicious. You can tell it’s super clean too. Might be the best horchata I’ve ever had. This place is the best.
Homemade tortillas !! Need I say more !! Tried the Al pastor, carnitas, asada, shrimp, and one more that I can’t remember… the shrimp was the best, but all were amazing. Cash only !! Lots of outdoor seating and a bit of indoor seating. Recommend !!!
Perfect place to eat. Quiet. Found a table immediately. I had the Manolo's Torta. Delicious. See the photo. My daughter chose the Carne Asada burrito. She said it was delicious. Tortillas are homemade. The place is small but very inviting. Service and food are awesome. The place is around the corner from Gayle's Bakery and Rosticceria.
$Cash Only!$ Pretty good Tortas, could have used more filings, i.e. meat. The bread was really good. The tortillas (corn) are excellent, call ahead to order a dozen to go. Next time I'll try their tacos.
Great little spot. Wait is a little extreme because everything is made to order and homemade, down to the tortillas. But the price is great. Patio is gorgeous. If you're in a hurry I suggest placing a phone order. The flavor and quality is unbeatable though. I honestly couldn't even tell you of another place making handmade tortillas. It is cash only.
Hands down the best taqueria in the area. The handmade tortillas are so delicious. I always get the shrimp tacos. I tried the Huevos Rancheros today and was transported to Mexico. They had just made a fresh batch of the verde salsa, which is deliciously spicy. They also offer a red "gringo" salsa. Cash only, with mostly outdoor seating
So so good. First time last night. Easy parking and entrance. Beautiful courtyard was hosting a birthday party and it looked fun. Ventured past the revelers and entered the cozy yet clean indoors. Sweating available indoors and out for dining in. Friendliest owner lady (Lupita maybe? Trying to remember) speaking with me about her husband's fresh made daily torta rolls and tortillas. Mural on the wall of his hometown. Food made quickly and exactly as ordered. Delicious. Can't wait to eat more off that menu! Thank you Thank you Thank you. Cash only.
