Taqueria Tejupilco is a small spot offering authentic Mexican food at very reasonable prices. The value matches what you pay—flavors are solid, though quality can vary depending on what you order. The guacamole was fresh and flavorful, and the vegetarian taco was a pleasant surprise with good balance. The burrito was savory, but unfortunately the meat was low-quality and slightly burnt, which took away from the overall experience. While this isn’t the place for premium cuts or upscale dining, it’s a reliable choice if you’re looking for a quick, affordable meal with authentic touches. Given the fair pricing and consistency in some dishes, it earns 4 stars.

This place is seriously BANGING. Easily one of the best hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurants I’ve been to. The inside is small—only three tables—so it’s more ideal for takeout, but WOW, the food is phenomenal. I got a steak fajita burrito, and it was sooo good I couldn’t put it down. Only (slightly) negative thing? No queso. And I love queso. But honestly, the food is so good, I’ll let it slide.

I live in Texas so I know my way around a taco and these are top notch. No frills affordable spot to eat with great food.

2nd time here. The food is pretty good can’t lie, however, as a LA native, this is pretty pricey. Still good though. I added an updated menu picture since the website has old prices

Authentic, straight to the point and delicious little taqueria on broadway. Certainly some of the better Mexican I’ve had in the city with reasonable prices. Steak had a nice char and touch of smoke. Wish there was a little more meat in the Al pastor burrito, but the flavor was there. Also a huge fan of the verde salsa. Will absolutely be stopping in again. ¡Me encanta los tacos de aquí!
