I've gone here for years and have never been disappointed. This huge plate of food is less than $7 and I can get two meals out if this easily.
Food and waitress excellent! It was cold in there and I am never cold. Maybe the heat wasn't turned on early enough before doors were opened. First time for me where they were playing hard rock. I'd rather hear Spanish or more pleasant, comfortable music while relaxing to eat. I'll be back because I love the food.
Great hometown Mexican food, loved the crispy taco shells. Friendly staff too.
Food was bland. Ordered a chicken and rice dish. Not much flavor. Service was good. Very prompt and happy. Price was pretty decent. Salsa was more like pureed tomatoes than salsa.

Food was great, portions were a tad small though. I think our server might have been new, if not then there is room for improvement. The interior was spacious but a little cold both in temperature and atmosphere. Food was good enough to return and recommend.
Great tacos. Salsa is garbage IMO. Chips pretty good but was charged for them. Probably won't return.

A wonderful Midwest tex-mex restaurant that is not authentic but with good home cooked deliciousness. I had the soft taco plate. Three deep fried flour tacos with rice and beans. It was more than filling with fresh delicious toppings. The ground beef was a bit plain but overall was very good. The fried flour chips were a welcome change from the usual corn chips. The staff was very pleasant and there was little wait for our food. Overall a wonderful place to have lunch.
Love this place to pieces! I eat here almost once a week and that's a forty minute drive round trip. Love their corn and flour chips. I get the hardshells and my family gets the fried soft shells. But... The number one thing that makes the whole restaurant is their sauce. They have mild, regular, and extra hot. And they give you little bowls with spoons so you can mix them to get the right amount of heat! The food is always fresh and the dining room clean. Most of the staff is great and don't try to rip you off like so many other restaurants do. Definitely five stars.... Scratch that. 10/5 stars. Best food ever!
