Jambalaya $28 was good with a decent portion. Serving for 3ish, 2 if you both eat a lot or 1 if you do not get full when eating.
I don't know why it has taken us so long to try this restaurant! The atmosphere is so warm and cozy, you feel like you're in a restaurant in Mexico. The waitress was quiet but very friendly and helpful. The order came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The price is good for the portion size too. We will definitely be back!
We had such a wonderful experience at Viva Maria! We shared the fajitas for two, and they were absolutely delicious. The service was warm and welcoming, and the restaurant itself feels so cozy and inviting. We can’t wait to come back and try the brunch thank you!
Date night for me and hubby our first time here and I can say the food was really good . I ordered chile relleno and enchilada suiza with rice and beans he ordered carnitas plate. Everything had great flavor beans were the best we had anywhere up here for sure and rice had great flavor you can tell they care about their food. Place felt cozy and the margarita was yummy and hubby enjoyed the Pacifico on draft. The staff is kind and helpful but was a little slow to get to us at first. Will definitely go again.
This place is awesome. I've lived in apple valley for a few years and never been here. But OMG, this place is great. Everything I have tried so far is amazing, flavorful, and very well worth the price. Not to mention the portions are great. I had to take half of my burrito home. And the margaritas are epic. Definitely need to give this place a try. The staff and environment are awesome.
We were very impressed with the portions of food we got. The food was good. The margaritas were good and had enough alcohol to get you feeling right. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are hungry. It will not disappoint.
This place never disappoints. Whatever we get it’s above and beyond our expectations. Large portions so be prepared to have leftovers. Well worth the price. Staff is always very friendly and attentive. Our waiter Eric is exceptionally good and informative. Love this place.
No lie! Real Mexican food, real Mexican decor, real Mexican experience, real Mexican music! People ask all the time, “do you know where there is good Mexican food in the high desert?” I can honestly say, there are now 2 restaurants. Paulina‘s Mexican restaurant in Victorville and now, Viva Maria’s Mexican restaurant in Apple valley. Bomb, bomb, bomb!!! Must try!! I had the surf and turf at Viva Maria’s and my wife had the beef tamale and chile relleno combo plate with rice. Rice was fire! OG old school Mexican music and decor made the experience! Service was great! Checked on us several times, they made sure we had everything we needed.
