They are great tortas, not the most beautiful place but really good! Service more or less!
Great experience. I had the Cubana, and an order of onion rings delivered direct and still hot. Some torta vendors skimp on ingredients, and make things too greasy, but not these guys. It was a satisfying meal right at my door and for a reasonable price, plus with 50 pesos off for a first order. I will definitely order from here again.
Being coming here for ages, tortas are still good but they must have change their ingredients flavour it's not quite the same ...they used to put beans, Oaxaca cheese; still very good ....for sure you will never be disappointed.
Delicious Torta Hawaiana, well served with abundant pickled peppers and vegetables on the side. A fairly priced Combo plate included fries and a soda and a nice place to sit. Hadn't had a torta in a while, and this one hit the spot.
A torta is basically a sandwich, on a soft yet somewhat crispy bread, filled with whatever you can dream of. La Castellana was a nice surprise. Their signature torta is really, really good and you should definitely try it. They offer their tortas alone or in a combo that includes fries (your choice of french, curly or waffle fries) and a soda or flavored water. It's not exactly traditional to have fries with a torta, but the combination is surprisingly good. Go give them a try!
This is an excellent example of a traditional tortas restaurant in Mexico. During the business days it teems with businessmen for lunch and in the weekend families from around. A must go if you want the true torta experience and are in the area
