Joanne was a delight! She’s also quite the oyster shucker and the oysters - some of the best we’ve had Not only did she welcome us, she did everything! She shucked, she cooked, she cleared our table, she’s amazing! We ordered the cheeseburger and that did not disappoint. My husband and I were in Panama City and our daughter and her fiancé attend FSU. Blountstown is exactly half way for us to meet. We stumbled upon Garrett’s and are thrilled that we did. It felt like we were having dinner at a friends house. We will definitely be back :)
Our first time. We both had the club. So good. Bill had the fries. I had fried okra. We shared a side of corn nuggets. I had to take some home. Great prices. Peaceful atmosphere. Was Delicious from the sweet tea to the club. Going back tomorrow to support them because they support their church on Wednesdays. Awesome people
If you love home cooking from your sweet Southern grandmother, this is the place to go! Ms. Garrett is welcoming, kind, and one of the best cooks around. Absolutely delicious. On top of the heat food, the prices are low!
I don’t come to Blounstown unless I stop and have oysters at this wonderful oyster bar. Shucked right there in front of you, so it doesn’t get any fresher. Thank you for the great hospitality always.
Went here to have dinner with my husband for the first time. Absolutely love this little restaurant! Atmosphere was small but great! We had ordered the double hamburger and double cheeseburger. Man it was soo good! Cheese sticks, fries, and potato pies! The cook was absolutely amazing, i adore her! We will definitely be coming back.... with friends!
I rarely give reviews but after an amazing lunch at Garrett’s I’m compelled to leave one. The fried pork chop far exceeded any and all expectations. The flavor of the breading was a perfect mix and most importantly, the chop was cooked to perfection. Our interactions with Joann made the experience worth every penny. She is so kind and joyful. We can’t wait for our next time to see our photo on the wall. Five out of five stars.
Mrs Garrett is so sweet. She is a hard worker and a servant to God. She makes the best sweet potato pies also.
What a find! We enjoyed this little gem so much! The sweet potato pie was the best ever but everything was good.
