We went for breakfast, very tasty This venue is situated not far from the fort shopping centre. Nice and clean and large enough to accommodate 100s of guests. Little children's play area and outside seating... Under the Greenking umbrella the food was very good quality, perfectly cooked and plentiful.. The manager Adam had everything in hand and with the help of Leah everything went off without a hitch. Photos show beautifully presented freshly cooked food deck and we didn't wait for anything. The toast is cooked for you and put in the trays to help yourself, again very tasty, farmhouse style Bread. Not the fault of the staff but company policy .... There were no plates to put toast on... Adam did give us a couple of undersized plates but said the company had removed the small plates as some unscrupulous customers were using them as free children's sized breakfasts A small recommendation... I only drink icy water with my food as a rule and the staff were happy to refill my glass but this meant queuing at the bar for this... Maybe a water jar or faucet would be good for customers like me to save disturbing busy staff. All in all a very enjoyable breakfast in clean comfortable surrounding, friendly staff and cooked to perfection. I Would highly recommend trying this buffet breakfast for yourselves eat what you want for £7 and plus £2 for unlimited tea or coffee P.s...they also accept the blue light card for a discount... We went on Saturday and some other pub chains don't accept discounts on the weekend... Well done Greenking... Very pleased all round

Visited here Sunday and again Tuesday, Tuesday was a party of 9 people. On arrival, we were welcomed and shown to our seat. Ordered at the bar, the staff repeated our order back to us and recommended a flavour drink we wanted to try. Food was lovely as always, carvery food was nice, staff delivered food with great service, Asked her to take a group picture and she did. Special mention to Shell she was our waitress, very nice & delivered great service. Thank you. Will be back at the end of the month with friends.

Visited this pub on 10/03/2023, quite busy but they found me and my brothers a table. I had the carvery and the beef & turkey was lovely. I especially enjoyed the beef dripping roasties. Everything was hot and well cooked. Both my brothers enjoyed their meals( sirloin steak and the hunters chicken). They enjoyed the IPA and Abbott Ale as well . We were all full from the meals so got cake to take home and enjoy later. The staff were all friendly and informative, attentive.

Absolutely stunning cheesecake, huge portions so I get to enjoy it again at home later. Shell was lovely our whole visit and helped when a carvery was mistakenly put through as vegetarian to fix the problem straight away.

We were greeted by the friendly manager who showed us to our table, the staff & venue had really good vibes in general which is a rarity in pubs nowadays. The food was lovely & fairly priced. It made a nice change from Toby carvery & would definitely recommend to all.
