I recently visited a ramen restaurant, and here are my impressions. First of all, the atmosphere was very cozy and casual, creating the perfect setting for enjoying the food. The menu offered a variety of ramen options, and I chose the classic chicken ramen. When my dish arrived, I was impressed by its size. The noodles were average in taste, but that's an acquired taste. The only downsides were the water glasses and the toilet, which weren't very clean. I wouldn't come back.
Hidden ramen gem in South Bay! Better than the ramen places on Castro street in Mountain View. My friend and I both ordered the Miso Ramen (~$18.50 each before tax) which were large portions that came with very tasty and tender large slices of pork. The broth and noodles were also flavorful without being too salty. Service was fast. Good amount of indoor seating, casual ambience.
Can't believe this was hidden in a market. Love this place. Thick pork slices on the miso ramen. I'm more salty on my soup base but that's just my preference. Staff is welcoming. Try the milkshakes they're refreshing! I really liked the strawberry flavor and everyone else on my crew.
Huge portions for a great value quality is decent overall. Great for a quick bite and casual dining . Can fit groups of 4 easily and they have flexible seating to accommodate larger groups of 8 or even more if needed. Staff is quick to prepare the meals so no need for long waits. I can see that changing with busier crowds though. They serve you hot tea as the sit down beverage of choice and you'll have to ask for water if you need it. There is male and female restroom. Overall decent place to checkout.
People are so focused on the fancy concept and the extravagant atmosphere, making them miss authenticity, this places is like the neighborhood restaurant from your small villa, love the atmosphere, the food is full of real flavor, nothing extravagant, just simplicity and flavor, and the lady in the front desk provides us a great experience, making us feel comfortable. A must go if you are looking for good food.... and the portions are HUGE!!!
A unsuspecting chinese/japanese restaurant next to Saigon Seafood Harbor. Most ppl usually get the chinese food here which isn’t bad. The portion sizes are quite big but mostly because it is meant for family style eating where you share dishes. Ramen is more like a Taiwanese/Chinese soup flavor so don’t expect the Ramen to be Japanese Ramen here (despite the name haha) Lots of parking in the plaza but only one entrance if you are turning in from Lawrence Service is alright, we went when only one server was available
An amazing authentic Ramen place. The Ramen itself was absolutely delicious and the stuff very friendly. They give you a warm welcome with a tea.
Don't expect Japanese ramen despite the name of the restaurant. Got the shrimp tempura ramen- Tempura isn't bad, but the breading isn't exactly panko. The ramen soup and noodles tastes more like Chinese due to the thinner and lighter broth. Having that said, it's not bad. The mushroom shrimp rice combo was delicious. The sauce they used to marinate was flavorful yet not overpowering. Came with a bowl of butter sauteed cabbage and a large bowl of clear broth soup. Would come back for the rice dish.
