Service was great, even though they were fairly busy we were seated quickly and served fast. I had the steak hibachi and it was excellent. Will definitely return when I'm in the area again.
Love this spot! Tons of options to pick from, plus you can custom-make your order too. Their ramen is perfect—not too big a portion. That way you can have both ramen AND sushi, best of both worlds! And the vibe here is so fun, totally worth coming back for.
Came here to have an early dinner with the fam. I ordered the shrimp ramen and my husband ordered the filet mignon hibachi. Both plates did not disappoint!!! The shrimp had a bit of a kick to it and it tasted so good! Our son had the regular chicken ramen which also did not disappoint!!
The soup is rich and flavorful, noodles are chewy and smooth, with fresh and generous toppings. Authentic taste, clean and cozy environment, friendly service. Very satisfying, will definitely come back!
Our family of three had a great experience eating dinner here. We had a shrimp tempura roll, shoyu chicken ramen, shrimp fried rice, and hibachi chicken entree that also included a ginger salad and clear soup along with hibachi vegetables, fried rice and noodles. Everything was fast and fresh. Our servers were incredibly kind and took care of us the entire time. We were in and out pretty quickly, even for a Saturday night, and we went home with tons of leftovers as well. We look forward to returning again soon.
We came in for lunch on a Saturday. It was fairly empty inside. You seat yourself. We were greeted by our server, who was quick and attentive during our visit. We choose their lunch special hibachi dishes. Salmon & shrimp were delicious with fried rice. The side sauces provided added the flavors of the dish to another level. Our kids got their sushi rolls, which were the only things we weren't crazy about. The rice had little to no flavor, and it was barely sticking to the seaweed. It wasn't our best sushi we've tasted here in SD. I wish we tried their ramen because that is what they are known for. Overall, the service was great, and the atmosphere was relaxing and upbeat. They were playing a football game, which was a perk for the hubby.
I would only come here for the ramen. The sushi was not good. It didn't look or taste fresh. And to be honest it was not put together well. In the photo I already had eaten a couple of pieces but the sushi pieces were unevenly cut. Not really a big deal but if you are offering sushi on the menu, I would at least present it better. The ramen was tasty. I really enjoyed the broth but I have had better "WOW" moments with other ramen places in the area and in san diego in general. Sorry just being honest. The presentation though... was on point. The service was great, our server was very kind and attentive and that's really all you can ask for to be happy. Plus: they have a patio and allow dogs there Parking: a ton Ordered: spicy tonkotsu spicy chicken tonkotsu and spicy tuna roll.
Delicious food. Interesting rolls. What caught my eyes was the Ramen. I had the Tonkaysu black garlic, and it was heaven in my mouth. Finished everything to the very last drop. I will definitely benack again for the ramen!
