I didn’t even think I was much of a ramen person until I tried their ramen. It was really flavourful and delicious. My friends brought home their leftovers and told me that the ramen still tasted amazing even after re-heating it. The service was great, as the waitress was really patient and meticulous about checking the menu items for my peanut allergies.
Touhenboku Ramen in Toronto really hits the spot when you’re craving a rich, hearty bowl of ramen. I had the tonkotsu broth — it was creamy, full-bodied, and deeply savory without feeling too heavy. You can tell the broth has been carefully simmered for hours to build that depth of flavor. The noodles had a nice firmness, with just the right chew, and the chashu pork was tender and well-marbled. The egg was perfectly soft-boiled, with a creamy yolk that added extra richness to each bite. What I appreciate most is the balance: every element of the bowl felt intentional, nothing out of place. It’s the kind of ramen that feels both comforting and well-crafted. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re serious about good ramen in Toronto.
Good bang for your buck. The food is great and flavourful and came with free takoyaki when we went. The rice bowls are great too. The space is a little small, more suited for a casual meal. Anything spicy won't be actually that spicy, so maybe ask for hot sauce if that's what you're into.
Cozy place with Delicious Ramen and Friendly staff. The food could have been a bit cheaper though! No waiting time on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. Liked the experience:)
I like the spicy and sour cold ramen here. I strongly recommend adding it to the main menu, instead of only eating it in summer. It would be better if the noodles could be a little more.
I have been coming here for almost 10 years. I’ve tried other ramen spots, and yeah they’re good. But nothing replaces those for me! I am plant based so I get the mushroom ramen and I’m never disappointed. The food is sooo good. I miss the old staff but the new people are also so so nice :’). I hope this place stays open forever it’s now my husbands fave place as well. Warmth in my heart is all I feel when I enter.
I always want to praise this restaurant s I tried for few times, this time i had takeaway and I can only praise the good packaging of the takeaway food, and certainly the taste is authentic & delicious and it is not easily have it from an instant ramen packs you found in supermarket
This small ramen spot might not look like much from the outside, but the food speaks for itself. The broth is rich and full of flavor, clearly made with care. The noodles have a great texture, and the chashu is tender and well seasoned. Even the soft boiled egg is perfectly cooked. The place is simple and quiet, with friendly staff who make you feel welcome. It may be an underdog, but it delivers a solid, satisfying bowl of ramen every time.
The ramen was flavorful and well presented. Service was exceptional and quick. The server(owner)was very kind, friendly and polite. She was very informative about the menu and we can see that “hospitality is her first priority “. Will come back again for sure to try the other ramen.
We discovered this ramen spot via Google Maps and decided to give it a try based on its 4.2-star rating. We were not disappointed. Despite the crowd, the service was excellent; our server checked on us twice to ensure we had everything we needed. This Japanese restaurant truly made our day after a long walk—we were starving, and the food was exactly what we wanted: delicious and satisfying. I had the pork and , while my wife enjoyed the pork ramen with egg. We also shared an octopus meatball appetizer, which was equally delicious. I highly recommend this place—the food is outstanding, and the staff is kind and polite. Our total came to $68, including tips, for two main dishes, one appetizer, and a Sapporo beer .
Cute little ramen place on Queens. The ramen portion was not too big but the meat portion was pretty great. Both the noodles and the soup tasted great. The staff was friendly and I had a great time. The spicy ramen was actually spicy and had a good flavor too!
Great broth and ramen. We had the spicy ramen special with free gyoza which is amazing deal. The duck ramen is very good and you can actually taste duck flavour in soup. The only downside I have is the place is small and crowded. If you want a place to chat and sit comfortably without feeling pressure to leave by the wait line then this place may not be the best option. food is amazing
Winter season calls for a warm bowl of creamy ramen, a plate of veggie gyozas, and a Sapporo beer at Touhenboku Ramen :) Decided to stop by this ramen spot while walking on Queen West. The food was delicious; I especially enjoyed the creamy mushroom ramen broth and veggie gyoza. The gyoza was part of a deal with one app and a pint of Sapporo for 14.99 ^^ The atmosphere inside was super Christmasy! The staff were all friendly and attentive :) I would come back again!
