A&b Country Kitchen

I did a quick google search as I was passing through the area in this little beacon of light showed up. I exited the interstate and drove a few miles over.Not knowing what I might find when I got there. It looks to be an old gas station turned restaurant. The which is perfectly acceptable for me.The reviews were worth everything and more. They have. A smaller menu but what they do.Have they execute very well , at least from what I tasted. I wanted something very simple which was a fried bologna and cheese sandwich. I'm a Southern girl with Southern roots.And that was a staple growing up, and since bologna was on their menu.I asked for just that. Apparently they don't typically fry the Bologna.But I did ask and the grill cook, who I will call.Granny agreed to do a fried bologna sandwich for me. I had a little bit of Mayonnaise added that she executed like she's been doing this her whole life.It was the perfect amount. And then I ask if they would grill my bread on the grill top , which is something they don't typically do as well , but they accommodated that request also. And when I tell you by far it was probably the very best Bologna and cheese sandwich that I have ever had in my whole entire life.I literally mean it. My only regret is that I didn't get two of the sandwiches. The next time I'm remotely close to the area.I will go back and get more.

Don’t let the outside scare you. Food was great. Definitely an old friendly family diner. Old but clean. Restroom could use refurbishing.

Delicious food made by down home folks! A must try. So lucky to have such a gem in little ol Latta.

So we drove all night from NJ,we were heading to Myrtle Beach for vacation,I just googled a place to eat breakfast,it was good, kinda Mom and Pop place which is good,I like to support small businesses, that's what keeps this country rolling. I recommend to stop in and check it out, I think they are only open till 1:30 pm

The staff was amazing and the food was so delicious! We were passing through on the second half of a 5 hour road trip with our 5 year old and 18 month old. It was the perfect place to fill our bellies and stretch our legs! They had a little play area for the boys. We will definitely stop by again when we find our way near.

Drove down ftom NC to get lunch with my family before going to Reptile Lagoon at SOTB. We found this restaurant on a whim after another place in Dillon looked closed. Super friendly owner and staff. They took good care of us. I had the open faced burger with gravy and onions. Very good food and cooked to order! Cannot recommend enough! Also it was the waitress' first day and she did great.

Southern comfort food and hospitality at its absolute finest. Don't pass up the sweet tea and enjoy freshly made meals in a comfortable laid back diner. Expect to be welcomed by all the locals enjoying a great southern meal.

We ran across this quaint little place traveling back to GA and I must say, it was the most pleasant experience ever! The food was top notch but the service was equally as good! My husband said it was by far the best hamburger steak he’s ever had in his life! I went with the Philly and it was also 10/10! If you have the chance, you should check this place out!
