This is one of our favorite places to stop for food on our way out of TN. It's like a fast food meat and three. Quick and easy and something different than other fast food options. It's simple and delicious.
My first time eating there, I tried the turkey and dressing, Mac and Cheese, sweet potato casserole and turnip greens. Everything was delicious
1st time in, I was so impressed with the process and the friendly/ efficient young lady at the counter. The food was also impressive and truly had southern flair and taste. Not what I was expecting. The pork chop was juicy and fresh, black eye pease and greens OMG!!the fish outstanding. Only minus was the beef tips and rice not so much( meat was rubbery and I got about 3 teaspoons of rice) and the Mac and cheese while good had no seasoning. I will return time and time again
I ordered via GrubHub, so I cannot comment on the service or atmosphere. The Fried Okra was soggy, but I did have it delivered. The fried fish and chicken & dumplings were both very good. The peach cobbler was delicious. VIP Sweet Tea on the GrubHub app means mixed with lemonade. I would order from here again.
If you were a regular at Dixie café, or the Black Eyed Peas or Po Folks, this is your place. I especially like how well they season and cook the fish and get it right which most fast foods and fast casual either under cook or overcook it. It is near the interstate and near Germantown Parkway. Also, I have posted the menu in the photos.
It was my first time here because someone recommended it. Nice place to eat and work. You can make your orders right at your table using the QR codes. Delivery was fast. The quality of food was 6/10 ( meatloaf &mac cheese), I could probably go back and try a different dish.
A go-to place for great southern food with prices you can’t beat. Amazing staff! The manager is one of the best. Lots of food for one or more people. Definitely try this location!
When I come to Memphis I like to come here to eat a bunch of food. This time, I ordered the pork chop with 3 sides this time and then an additional 3 side sampler. I wasn't alone and I definitely didn't eat it all but I love the variety. The service is fast and friendly. The food is hot and yummy and will be back again next time I'm in town.
