I first wrote this review iver 3 years ago and its still one of my favorite restaurants outside of Italy. Service is always top notch and the food is always delicious and fresh. We always get the pizza parma and today we tried the tartufo one. Incredible. Tempted to order one to take home. I will miss Barbu'to dearly when the time comes for us to leave Europe. Original: First time in Strasbourg and this restaurant did not disappoint. The pizza we ordered was incredible, that we had to order a second one to bring home. Staff was very kind and spoke English, which was helpful
My husband and I had a great experience at this restaurant, thanks to the warm and friendly service from Christophe. Since we couldn’t read the French menu and the restaurant didn’t have WiFi for us to use translation apps, Christophe kindly lent us his phone so we could check the English menu. He also helped us order using pictures and English. The pizza he recommended was absolutely delicious—crispy crust and great toppings! I ordered the shrimp seafood pasta, which was just okay (probably because I’m from an island country and have high expectations for seafood ). Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for its pizza and especially for Christophe’s kind and helpful service!
Cozy atmosphere with delicious pizza, and the staff were all incredibly friendly! It was a bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it for the quality and experience!
Looking for a pizza place, I found this bistro in the downtown Strasbourg, France. The service is OK, but they prioritize efficiency over attention; sometimes it was difficult to get the attention of the waitress. She seemed more worried about new customers... Anyway the pizza was good, but I would like to have more anchovies instead of olives. The choice of wine was good, but they were runouut of some desserts
Cozy & busy indoor or outdoor restaurant/bistro. Friendly staff, but the food was an 11 out of 10. Fresh, and full of flavor. The pizza is hand crafted and the crust is as good as it gets, the seafood pasta is some of the best I've had, ever! This place is a must try.
We had a great meal. The risotto (pumpkin and scallop) was superb. Great value for money.
