What an amazing spot! From the second we walked in, the vibe was just right—stylish but still cozy and welcoming. The food was incredible—everything tasted fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. You can tell there’s a lot of care and passion behind every dish. Huge shoutout to Riccardo, the manager, who was absolutely impeccable. He made us feel so welcome, checked in at just the right times, and clearly knows how to run a place with both class and warmth. Bar Milano is the kind of restaurant you walk out of already planning your next visit. Highly recommend!

I was at Bar Milano celebrating a coworker’s baby shower with my colleagues. I really liked the atmosphere, the service, and the place itself. We had plenty of space, and the staff stood out for their warmth and excellent customer service. The food was good. Overall, it’s an excellent spot to enjoy a great time with friends, family, coworkers, or even for a moment to yourself.

We had an absolutely amazing night at this Italian restaurant in Maroubra. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, lively, and instantly inviting. It has that perfect balance—elegant without being pretentious, and vibrant without being noisy. The food was exceptional. We ordered a mix of seafood dishes and pasta, and every single plate came out full of flavour and beautifully presented. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the pasta was perfectly cooked—silky, rich, and clearly made with love. The burrata was creamy and delicious, easily one of the best we’ve had. The cocktails were on point, and the wine selection was impressive. Staff were knowledgeable enough to suggest pairings, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Service was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. It felt like the staff cared, not just about serving food, but about making sure we had a great night. Overall, this place exceeded expectations. Amazing food, excellent service, great drinks and a beautiful atmosphere—definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in the area. We’ll absolutely be back!

This is the most incredible dining experience! The staff are kind, attentive, funny and so caring. Masters of there craft. Especially Ricardo!! So well humoured. The food is high quality and the drinks are so well made. The vibe is always immaculate and the music is always bang on. A must visit if you’re ever in the eastern suburbs. Bravo bar Milano!

I recently dined at Barmilano, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The beef Ragu gnocchi was absolutely superb soft, perfectly cooked, and full of rich, comforting flavour. It’s the kind of dish that reminds you why simple, traditional Italian food done well is unbeatable. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the exceptional customer service from Riccardo. He was incredibly professional, warm, and genuinely inviting, making us feel welcome the moment we walked in. His attention to detail and passion for hospitality were evident throughout the service , and he created an atmosphere that felt both polished and relaxed exactly what you hope for in a great Italian restaurant. Barmilano is extremely lucky to have such a fantastic manager. Riccardo runs the restaurant with confidence, care, and authenticity, ensuring everything functions seamlessly while still feeling personal and heartfelt. The result is a well managed, professional, warm, and truly Italian dining experience that stands out. Highly recommend for the food, the service, and the wonderful sense of hospitality that keeps you coming back.

We celebrated my sons 21st birthday here. Ruta the events organiser helped bring the birthday together. She is amazing! Lorenzo hosted us for the evening and was fabulous. Everything came together in such a beautiful restaurant. The vibe was perfect!
