Delicious food, outstanding service, and charming atmosphere. The filet mignon was very tender and cooked perfectly. The ribs were basted with in-house made bbq sauce and slow cooked to fall off the bone. The crispy prosciutto complimented the burrata nicely. Highly recommend.
We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Bistro Local 245 when we arrived in La Malbaie. Service was excellent, and each dish was well presented, as shown in the photos.
Had a great time eating supper here! The potage du moment and the crème brûlée were to die for!! I had the penne pasta with salmon two ways and felt the plate to be missing some flavour but still loved it nonetheless! Would absolutely return.
Walked in as a solo diner with no reservations, and they were happy to seat me on the patio. The staff was friendly and accommodating. French is my second language, and after struggling they happily spoke to me in English. Started with the salmon tartar, and followed with the Tagliatelle pan-fried scallops and shrimps with citrus cream sauce, with cream brulee for dessert. All wonderful, freshly prepared, and cooked to perfection. My only criticism would be the service was a little slow, and it felt like my server forgot about me. He was very polite and professional, but he didn't come around often. It was particularly noticeable when the couple next to me had to go into the dining room to get his attention. Overall, worth the visit, and I would dine here again.
Good food - lots of different gourmet plates. Love the interior decor - lots of wood : gorgeous. Clean washrooms. Friendly service. We had the burger and chicken burger - it was good.

Nice local find! Both the food and drinks were tasty & generous. We both got the Table d’Hôte (3 course). Both our meals, tuna steak & duck confit, were cooked perfectly. The tuna in particular was memorable. Staff is friendly and greets everyone with warm smiles. There’s a nice light ambience. Great local bistro!
