This little gem in Eva is a great place to grab a bite with friends or family. Casual dining with an old barn vibe. Local favorites, country cooking, and something special every day. Even some southern seafood. Stop by and have a bite of southern country charm.
Haven't been to Bobby's since they moved, but it's the same great food. Chicken is always the best and the catfish is my favorite, now this was the first time I've had the ranch potato salad, but it was so good.
I love the food here! They have great fried and grilled options which, is rare. Their grilled chicken is my absolute favorite because, I can dip it in their home made ranch or white sauce. The staff is very friendly and professional. Also, their food score is a 96 which means their kitchen is clean.
New location, previously located at the intersection of Eva Road and Highway 55 in Eva, AL now located at the corner of Lindler and Highyway 55 in Eva. What you'll find is a friendly, clean, traditional Southern Fare eating establishment. Everybody knows everyone in this place so be prepared to get the “you ain’t from here look!” I had the large (10 oz) Hamburger steak with green beans, mashed potatoes with gravy and a slice of Texas Toast. Food was OK but in all reality it was tasteless… no I don’t have COVID! It tasted like your Grandmother cooked it and forgot to add any seasonings at all! I should have been alerted of this possibility when the cashier asked me if I wanted Heinz 57 or A1 steak sauce while ordering… You order at a walk up counter from a menu board mounted on the wall and then you proceed to a quaintly decorated dining room where you food is brought out to you on Styrofoam plates with proper metal utensils. I have no problem with this concept, but alas, I was a bit disappointed with a. the cost; and b. the lack of taste. I must give out a shout out to the staff though as they were extremely 'ease on the eyes' and very attentive. Noteworthy was the fact that they were conducting a food drive for the local food bank. Nice. I’ll probably give them another shot when I’m in the Eva area. I'm not saying that it was bad, it just needs some adjustments IMHO.
Enjoyed the Fish & Shrimp Plate With Ranch Potato Salad, Beer Battered Onion Rings, Unsweet Tea, & Strawberry Cheesecake for my taste of my experience & it was all good & it's my first time to dine in Bobby's Restaurant in Eva, AL.
Enjoyed the famous chicken tenders. We added some chicken wings too! They were really good!
The Hamburger and Fries/Taters Tots were really good! I wanted Chicken Fingers but they serve shrimp and the young man said sometimes they cook in the same oil... I have a shellfish allergy so I am glad I asked. The ice cream looked so good. I will get it next time! Lol
The employees and staff were wonderful! The food was great and fresh! We had a fabulous experience and not only will we be back, but will recommend Bobby's to all our friends!
