Bonnie's Buffet And Grill (Bonnie Cafe)

We had such a great lunch here. Everything we put on our plates was hot and flavorful. It was a wonderful selection even though we came a little after the lunch crowd. The mashed potatoes tasted as though they were fresh, not instant, the gravy tasted like homemade, the fried chicken was flavorful and seasoned so well! Our waitress, Debbie, could not have been nicer! If we lived closer, we'd be here quite often. We will definitely be back every time we are in town!

I’ve never been more inclined to make a review in my life but the first thing I bit into had me in heaven. I started with the carrots and they were SO GOOD, these carrots are what Cracker Barrel strives to serve but fails every time (but u still order with the hopes that one time it’ll taste good again). I could’ve eaten the entire pan of carrots and nothing else. Moving on, the sweet tea was AMAZING, it’s hard nowadays to get the perfect sweet tea but this tea has been mastered, I had about 4 refills of it (without asking, our server was amazing at keeping drinks filled and plates cleared we had Amie). So initially I was very happy because my first bite and sip was delicious. Next I tried the popcorn shrimp which had a very nice buttery taste to it. Then I had mashed potatoes which was also good. The chicken and dumplings looked somewhat questionable, but they were seasoned perfectly and had just the right taste to them. I then tried the potato soup which also had a very different look to it, but nonetheless tasted just like potatoes and they were good! On to the dessert, the peach cobbler was the best cobbler I’ve ever had in my life, I could’ve also just had that for me entire meal and been very happy. The rest of the family was very happy with their meals as well and it was super cheap!! Senior and kid discounts as well!

We had Becky S as our server and she did absolutely amazing! Kept up on our drinks and dishes as well as having friendly conversation with us!

My Wife And I Were in Town Celebrating Our 3rd Year Wedding Anniversary So We Decided To Stop By Here To Get Dinner. The Service Here Was Great. Becky Our Server Was So Nice And She Even Had A Great Conversation With Us . The Food Here Was Delicious, The Food Reminds Me Of Down South Georgia Cooking . I Love The Food The Peanut Butter Cake Is My Specialty, You Really Got To Put The Peanut Butter Cake in Stores it Would Sell Really Good .

Update: 4.17.24 NEW LOCATION Our first time here for the AYCE crab legs buffet and we were thrilled!! On Wednesdays from 4-8 pm, it's $39.99 for the crab legs as well as the rest of the excellent buffet! Our server Dana (She was terrific!) kept the hot, steamed crab legs coming, refilled our drinks, emptied the crab shell bucket several times, and was an A+++ server. My husband had a double cheeseburger and killer fries for only $12.95....it was huge and cooked perfectly. In general, all the staff is friendly and helpful, and the entire restaurant is spotless. Bonnie's is a true asset to the Osage Beach community. 10.28.23 Back again and today, l had one of the BEST country fried steak and gravy plates I've had in a long time. The hashbrowns were on point, and the steak was crunchy, yet tender. Sadly, my biscuits & gravy were cold, but l brought them home, warmed them up, and all was well. The service was, as always, friendly and professional, extra shout out to Melissa for being such a GREAT face for the restaurant. I'm glad we're locals. It's nice to have a place like this here at the lake. A+++ This humble cafe has come a long way since the start of Covid. It's decorated with a comfy, country vibe but not over the too. The service is professional and friendly but never intrusive. We've started coming back a few weeks ago, and we love it. The food is tasty, with large portions, and served pretty quickly. Today, l had one of THE best club sandwiches I've had in a long time. My husband always eats breakfast and is always happy w/his choices. This is the kind of laid-back place where a person can eat alone and not feel uncomfortable or weird. A+++ experience, and I'm glad we live here & can come often. Thanks, Bonnie's Cafe!! A+++

My first visit to the newly opened Bonnie’s Buffet and Grill (now located in the former Golden Corral building) was a wonderful experience! Melissa and her team have done a fantastic job revitalizing the restaurant. I enjoyed every item that I tried from the Breakfast Buffet (complete with a Made-to-Order Omelette Station!), and I can’t wait to return for Lunch or Dinner soon. Friendly service, home style food, and great prices. What more could you want?

Such a friendly place to visit and great really good food without taking out a second mortgage. My husband had the all you can eat crab legs as was very pleased that it was ready when he wanted more and fresh. I had the buffet and ate my fill. The red chili is amazing
