    We had a verry delicious meal here! We ordered a platter with a little bit of everything, and everything was absolutely delicious. The red wine was excellent as well. We would definitely recommend this restaurant in Lagos and can’t wait to come back!

    Amazing little place. Food was delicious, really tasty. We ordered the asparagus, scallops, steak and octopus All incredible. What a gem of a find

    We went here without a booking and we were lucky that they had space on the "community table". We have the meat board for 2 (sorry that's probably not the right name) but it was massive and had lots of meat including steak, chicken, sausage and lamb, as well as a portion of octopus. It was absolutely delicious and very good quality. We also enjoyed the fries which were kind of like homemade crisps with a nice cup. Definitely would recommend and would come again

    Great little restaurant very close to the city center, tucked away in a small side street — a real hidden gem. The food was excellent. You can really taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients, and everything was masterfully prepared in the open kitchen. The beef ribs were so tender. You didn’t need a knife, just a fork to eat them. Big plus: they even serve good German beer on tap. Service was outstanding — super friendly and welcoming. We were invited in warmly, asked about our preferences, given helpful recommendations, and checked in to see if we enjoyed the food. The atmosphere is very cozy and family-style, almost like a small Italian taverna. We felt comfortable right away and absolutely loved it. Definitely a place we’d happily return to.

    If you want flames, beer and juicy meat - then this is the spot for you. Even though I have to say, that the anchovies somewhat stole the show. My recommendation: get the meat plate for one person and add up two smaller dishes in case you're two people. More then enough meat and other things to try and having fun together. You also might want to have a reservation or come right after the opening hours.

    I visited back in December and had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely delicious,full of flavor,and beautifully prepared. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a lovely atmosphere. I’m really looking forward to its reopening on 7 February and can’t wait to visit again!

    Wonderful experience at Buenui! Wonderful food, atmosphere, and kind service. We had a seat looking at the kitchen and we noticed our waiter also plating food and we thought that was interesting. We assumed he must be the owner and then we tracked him down and asked him and he confirmed he was! Then at the end of the night we asked him for a photo and then he gave us all a glass of wine and talked with us for 10 min or so, sharing his story and about how he got started. Really kind guy and can tell his heart is wonderful and loves this place We went in early October and we got in with 6 people no problem without a reservation, but it you go in the summer, definitely get a reservation during peak tourist season. Great atmosphere for dining with friends. We sat inside which had so much character with music and lighting and being able to see the kitchen work their magic
