Cafe Greek Garden

Stopped in here today for an early dinner, and so glad we did. I typically just get a souvlakis dinner from Greek places but this one has a lot of interesting items on the menu. I ordered the chicken Karyai which was incredible. It's marinated chicken with a layer of marinara, topped with roasted red pepper and then feta and baked. Served with a side of fresh vegetables and a Fettuccini in marinara. Overall was incredible. Our server was very pleasant and welcoming, brought us a warm sliced bread with freshly made hummus and whipped egg roe thing I don't remember the name of. Very nice interior, a warmer day on the patio would have been awesome.

What a gem of a restaurant! Never been before, stopped in when we passed by, looked so lovely from the outside and even sweeter on the inside! Food was delicious, generous portions, well-priced, and the garlic tzatziki amazing!! Our server was so friendly and welcoming, would go back again in a heartbeat! Don't miss out on this fabulous little venue!

The traditional cuisine is exactly what you came for! And the portions are ample! I love the Greek atmosphere also! My first visit was odd being that Cafe Greek Garden has been at this location for a long time!! I shall return!

We sat on the patio, and the weather was perfect. It made the whole experience even better. The pasta was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy.

My husband and I have visited Cafe Greek Garden on multiple occasions. On our last visit, we decided to take out, and unfortunately it wasn’t the greatest food experience. I contacted the owner, John, to relay our issue, and he handled it with such grace. John allowed me to fully explain the issue and immediately came up with a solution. He delivered two fresh orders of our initial purchase, plus two appetizers to make up for the inconvenience - and just in time for dinner. Thank you, John, for taking the time to hear me out, apologize, deliver our food, and share your expectations as a restaurant owner who has real integrity. Your food is amazing, and your customer service is even better. We will continue supporting you and your awesome business!

I was very satisfied with the food. Everything was fresh, delicious, and well prepared. The quality exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely order again. Highly recommended!

The food is pretty good. However, the presentation could be better. There was just one waitress despite the place being quite busy. The moussaka was excellent.

Food was so delicious, healthy and fresh, service was great, and the atmosphere was so scenic! We went after watching my big fat Greek wedding 3, and felt we were in the movie in Greece, lol. Super worth it at its price point as well, comes with a huge serving. The tzatziki sauce they serve with some dishes is so so good. All 5 of us at our table were extremely impressed. This is by far the best restaurant I have dined in, better than any overpriced place in downtown toronto(and way less traffic!). Will be coming back soon for sure!

Food was delicious and the service was quick. A perfect stop during the weekday lunch hour!!

Customer appreciation week Started weak As soon as we walked in the waitress seemed annoyed we had come in 45 mins before closing (even tho we called before hand and asked does it matter what time we come in “We close at 9 so anytime before that” We were told) In reality the second the waitress seated us she said the kitchen is closing in 15 mins. As soon as our order was brought to the table. The waitress didn’t come back until she had the bill. No - how is it, is there anything else I can get you, we asked for water to start and one glass was all we were apparently allowed to have as the waitress never asked us if we’d like to order a drink when our dinner came or even a refill of the water we had. We’ve been coming for years and have never experienced this poor of customer service. Sooooo We went back (like I said. We’ve been long customers since the 90’s) When we walked in, we recognized the same waitress and were seated in her section. 100 percent, she recognized us and as awkward as the whole situation was. This young lady showed grace and showed effort. If there’s anything I can say it’s this place might not always be a hit but if you don’t enjoy it your first time. Give it another go (but maybe order something different) Really happy with the customer service tonight. I’m changing my review, not for the food but because of this young woman.

as a Greek person who has been to many Greek restaurants, this is the best Greek food I've ever had in my life other than my grandma's homemade food and the food in Greece itself. this is as authentic as it gets without travelling to Greece. prices are very reasonable, service was great. easily 10/10, everything was perfect. my only complaint was that the stall door in the men's washroom would not fully close no matter how hard I tried. that definitely needs to be fixed ASAP. but other than that minor issue, everything was perfect from the service to the atmosphere to the prices, and of course the food.
