Local , fast, made fresh while you wait. The chopped cheese was GreAt ! Everyone left with smiles!

The staff could not have been friendlier! I was one of their last pickups for the evening. The Baklava was a last minute addition to the order- and it turned out to be my favorite! The Mozarella Sticks were a bit mediocre, not enough salt. I ordered a pizza and added extra cheese, banana peppers, and onions. The cheese and banana peppers were solid, but I wish the onions wouldn't have been sliced so huge. They ruined the texture a bit. The sauce needed some more seasoning too- definitely salt and garlic. All and all- a good experience though!

I stopped by for a chopped cheese and left more impressed than I expected. The food itself was pretty good savory, satisfying, and exactly what you’d hope for in a classic chopped cheese. The real surprise was the fresh cookies, which were absolutely awesome and felt like the perfect finishing touch. What truly set this place apart, though, was the customer service. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable, and that kind of service makes all the difference. Overall, solid food, amazing cookies, and fantastic service, I’ll definitely be coming back.

I saw this place while doing Doordash. So I decided to give it a try. I went inside, were a polite young man greeted me. I asked him a few questions about the place. He said his father was the owner. I asked about the chopped cheese sandwich and said it was New York City style. So I ordered that with a bottled water. The place inside was clean. It had one TV in the corner. One unisex bathroom, it was clean. Plenty of seating. So if you live in the area or pass by this place you will recognize it as the Old Glen Allen Bistro. Which I never tried. So the young man brought my sandwich out, a 12 inch chopped cheese, with sauteed green peppers and onions and mayonnaise. The bread was warm and the ingredients nice and hot. The beef had great flavor and the cheese and peppers and onions as well. My only wish is that is had more beef! All in All a tasty Sandwich! Great service! Free parking. Plus! Hey guys, this is the best store I ever find here in this neighborhood. I was born in raised in New York City. My whole life and family been eating Chopped cheese four years Ipassed by the store and I see this Chopped cheese sign lighting up like Christmas I decide to pull in and order something special. I see more than seven people ordering the same Chopped cheese I was like is nowhere is going to be like New York City Chopped cheese. When I taste, it is actually the same thing as hometown New York City thank your Richmond for bringing this here. Very nice customer service very clean score 5 star ⭐I recommend to try this? This place is a wonderful hidden gem, and the food is all halal!! I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries and a 12inch Italian sub. Both were fresh and delicious-- my husband said the beef in the burger was mouthwateringly good. The owners are super friendly and even gave me 2 cookies for free. I wish I had known about this place earlier and wish them lots of success!

I recently stopped by Chopped Cheese RVA, and I have to say — this place is truly a hidden gem in the city. I tried the Philly steak, the supreme pizza, and the chicken wings, and every single item impressed me. The Philly steak was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with tender meat and melty cheese. You can tell they really care about quality because every bite was on point. The supreme pizza was just as good — fresh toppings, a nice crispy crust, and the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. It tasted like something made with real attention, not rushed or generic. And the chicken wings? Absolutely delicious. Juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. They easily became one of my favorite items on the menu.
