I absolutely enjoyed this restaurant today. Feels just like being at Granny’s house on a Saturday morning. My omelet had turkey bacon, mushroom and onions with cheese. I got smothered potatoes on the side. The food was delicious and very filling. My meal was $18.34! Service was great, music playing and just a great crowd.
The food was good but none two people in my group didn’t get the smothered potatoes like they wanted. The waiter could’ve been alittle more patient. Her attitude wasn’t exactly welcoming.
The breakfast is so extremely delicious!! It reminds me of sitting at the kitchen table smelling that hood good old southern breakfast. I will definitely be back here to get better photos and eat that good home cooked meal.
Best smothered potatoes in town! The staff are quick on their toes and polite. The music is great. The bad side is that they are only open til 12:00 p.m
When I say I forgot to take a picture but the wings, potatoes and eggs fire I really enjoyed them!
CW’s Lounge for Breakfast in mid city I got to say! Yum yum.. Great food. Street parking. Smoke free zone! They stop breakfast around 12 or 1. Steak and eggs. Chicken wings/ waffles. No complaints. I been coming here for few years. Soul solid Gold classic food! Yum yum
CW's is a classic and is walking distance from several North City neighborhoods, including Hyde Park where I live. Nice to see hustle and bustle in a local business. Seems always filled with interesting people.
CWs has the best home-cooked breakfast around. No other place has better breakfast for the price. My love & I went for breakfast on Saturday and he asked if they were open on Sunday. Lol! Looks like we're going this morning if they're open.
