We had a wonderful Christmas party for our women's self defense group. They made planning so easy. A wonderful selection of entrees, great pricing, and outstanding service!
I am one who like to get my food to look just like the picture. That goal was achieved today! The nachos taste as good as they look and I had to top it off with a taco. Look at it! You will not be disappointed!
Me and hubby got the fajitas(which keep in mind is only served after 5pm) and they were delicious. Very flavorful. Chips and pico were good to. Guacamole tasted off tho, like if they added bad avos with good ones(didn't eat). Atmosphere was ok. Everything was delicious but Expensive. 20$fajitas 10$chips&salsa 5$rice&beans. 65$ with tip for two people.
Sad to see the Millard El Bee's is closing... But, tonight we had poor service and mediocre food. It was like the server wanted us out quickly to fill the table again.
Fantastic, hot food. Great service. Smiles. Very homely atmosphere. Full bar. And Creighton fans to boot. Hope you enjoy your visit!
Overall good experience here at El Bees. The food portions were very big for the low price. Only reason for 4 stars is that it took the server about 10 minutes to bring our cars back when we were needing to leave.
Stopped in here for lunch since I was craving cheesy Mexican Food. If you like lots of cheese, you’re gonna love this place. Some of the cheesiest Tex mex in town. I got the quesadilla grande and I was not disappointed. The Taco Deluxe was my favorite thing I tried and I probably could have ate 3 of them. The dining area was nice, not too bright, not too dark, nice booths clean tables. The staff was quick and friendly. All and all this is a great lunch spot.
I've been going to El Bee's since I was a kid, and I still greatly enjoy it. The best way I can think of to describe it is as "Mexican Comfort Food". It's good, hearty, cheesy, enjoyable Americanized Mexican food. It's not fancy, it's not authentic, but it's great in it's niche. Also, get the bean dip with flour chips. Their flour chips are quite possibly the best chips I've found anywhere.
