Great food had a burrito and service was so nice and helpful.
El J's, as the locals call it, has an amazing burger, great Mexican food, and a run-down little seating area in the restaurant. Order the burgers and fries and take it to go because the host/service has a little bit of attitude. Their salsa and chips were free, but not really good. The prices are reasonable and the quesedilla and enchilada were pretty good.
Good fresh food. Their chicken salad was really good. The salsa was pretty plain and not much flavor which is why I am rating a bit lower. Also, the inside is a bit grungy and dated. Good, but typical small town Mexican food.
First time trying El Jalisense. The restaurant was clean, the waitress was very nice and polite and the food was great. I had steak Ranchero with the best grilled vegetables, rice and beans. My husband had chicken and steak molcajete and he said it was delicious. Very relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely eat there again.
3 de cerdo y 3 de carne. 1.50 ea. Delicioso y bien de precio. Comeré aquí cada vez. ........ 3 pork and 3 meat. 1.50 ea. Delicious and well priced. I will eat here every time. I could have only eaten 3 and been done but I had to indulge
